Unable to transfer Amazon account
I’ve just registered for an Amazon account (under my personal name and address). Now that my LLC is created and I have all the documents, I want to transfer the account under my LLC.
When I go to “Account Transfer” under “Account Info”, I get the following error:
We are unfortunately not able to proceed with your legal entity change request. You are not eligible for performing legal entity change.
Anyone ever faced this issue?

Got it fixed now. Seller Support suggested I send an email like following:
Please contact the verification team via the email address:seller-verification-enquiry@amazon.co.uk and update your legal entity.

Has this account been fully verified and activated yet, as if this process has not been completed, then I doubt you would be allowed to change the legal entity whilst this process in on-going.

If you’ve registered an Amazon account as an individual (as you suggest), you will not be able to transfer it. Instead, you will have to change its legal status to “business”, providing your LLC details.
However, you will not be able to do this until your individual account has been fully verified, which may take some time.

The screenshot is useful. By “account status” it says “Information provided”, which means exactly what it says. You’ve provided the information. That does not mean the information has yet been verified.
You will have to be patient.

Under account performance, my account used to show a message like: “your disbursements will remain on hold until your account is fully verified.”
This message disappeared today.
When I reached out to SS about legal entity change, I received the following reply:
"According to Amazon policy, If the seller has individual entity account, seller cannot perform LEC. However, seller can transfer his account to business and then request for Legal Entity Change."
Does anyone know how to upgrade to Business from individual?

The process you are looking for is to correct your entity type. You need to ask seller support to open the account information so that you can change the entity from individual to business.
Achieving this can be difficult to get them to understand because essentially you are now trying to correct your mistake in applying/opening your account incorrectly.
