Brand - restrict who can sell

Hi,

My seller account has Brand Registry for our brand, is it possible to set the account so no-one else can sell our brand products without first having to apply via Brand Registry?

Thanks.

not really
without brand registry you’d have to buy the goods off the other seller and report them as counterfeit

having Brand Registry - with a Trademark offers (or should offer) protection on your listings

As you state you do have Brand Registry, you should just be able to report seller who jump on your listings if they are not selling your exact product

Thanks. We do have a BR account with a trademark associated. We are trying to find a way so that anyone who wishes to sell our brand on Amazon has to first be authorised by us. I’m not sure if thats possible or not?

OK that makes sense, thank you. If a seller has jumped on one of our ASIN’s without approval, how do we get them removed? I have tried many times with Brand Registry but they never agree this.

Hello @ SHOPOCO,

As the Brand Registry member you have a right to protect your brand from any violations. It does not mean you can be the exclusive seller of the ASIN, but whenever you believe, there is a violation of your brand (trademark), you should submit a report.

Below I am sharing links to the Seller University, where you can review report violation policy:

Report intellectual property infringements
Report a Violation tool: Searching for a custom list of ASINs in bulk

Kind regards,
Julia.
