Dear Amazon Support Team,
We appreciate all the hard work you do for sellers and thank you for your continued support.
We would like to inquire about the specific compliance requirements for products that do not contain electronics or batteries. Specifically, for phone accessories (that do not include electronics or batteries), how should we prepare for compliance with the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR)?
The reason for our inquiry is that the GPSR information announced on the Seller Central page seems to primarily address products that involve electronics and batteries. We have not been able to find specific guidance for products that are unrelated to electronics and batteries.
According to the GPSR announcement, sellers need to prepare technical documentation, test reports, and a Declaration of Conformity. However, after researching this further, we realized that these requirements seem more relevant to electronic products.
Therefore, we would like to clarify: Do products that do not contain electronics or batteries still require the same documentation, such as technical documents, test reports, and a Declaration of Conformity? If not, what other steps should we take to comply with GPSR?
Are there any specific guidelines on Amazon’s platform for complying with the GPSR (General Product Safety Regulation), and for preparing required warnings, safety information messages, and uploading images or creating PDFs?
We look forward to your guidance. Thank you.
