ASIN made Inactive all of a sudden

I have had an update from amazon placing this restriction on my ASIN, can anyone help me work this out. Does it mean I have no chance of selling my product?

In accordance with the issue, I have checked with the listing and see that the ASIN has Item level restriction and at this moment only pre-approved sellers will be having the option to add this listing in the new condition.

Allow me to explain the restriction which has been made over your listing.

Normally listing products on Amazon does not require any approval. However some products might require for the seller to be approved based on either the category, brand, condition or the ASIN level. Also, certain brands and categories require approval to be sold on Amazon and some rules may change throughout the year.

Upon checking with Add a product tool, I found that the ASIN: ************* is the one which is restricted for you to sell at this time and this is an ASIN level restriction and you have approval to list products in that particular category, these ASINs have additional restriction which requires approval from Amazon.

To ensure that customers can shop with confidence on Amazon, we have placed selling restrictions on these products. There are a number of reasons why we implement selling restrictions.

On further checking, I see that currently this ASIN is under review, and as of now Amazon does not accept new application regarding selling this item. Please do not worry, once the review is completed Amazon will again start accepting application to sell. I hope you can understand how this works. I apologize if this may cause any inconvenience to you.

Please be noted that, since lot of sellers requested this restriction to be removed, we have already forwarded the concern to our business team to remove the restriction for this listing on behalf of the sellers.
