Safe T claim
I had a product which was shipped and returned, customer said item was used and it was perfect the usual waffle.
Informed them, send her back and can refund.. they did so and taped the crap out of the brand new box that it was in and cannot be resold as a new product to anybody.. fairly standard claim.
Asked amazon and they said whats up with this guy and they said just "refund" it in full and then file a safe T claim because thats there policy.
Tried to file a Safe T claim and they told me rack off, they now said i cant file a claim because i refunded it. The item was £148.
Im super miffed off, do i have any come back on this or just shut up and eat the cost?

Yeah - you can't file safe-t claims if you refunded yourself.
Safe-T claims only apply if the refund was via Refund at First Scan.
For future - if you are refunding yourself - you need to do a partial refund.
