Is your account safe with a good account health rating?
Hello
We've currently got an account health of 694. I am however concerned for our account health as Amazon are currently doing a counterfeit inspection on some our inventory, we've not had a reply regarding our uploaded purchase invoices of genuine inventory and time is passing before shortly they stated they will destroy the inventory, However I'm more concerned for what this would mean to our account should they concluded (wrongly) that they are counterfeit.
This started when the brand owner reported 3 ASINS of ours as counterfeit / copyright violations to Amazon. They did this as they wished to clear up up their amazon listings to only the new branded products. The listings in question were genuine products just in an older branding, but I guess it was easier for them to just get them removed by stating counterfeit than to ask sellers to remove them.
I have since been in communication with the brand owner via email who is happy for us to keep selling the new branded products not the old ones, and they acknowledge our products were all genuine. I therefore requested a letter from them confirming this which i could provide to Amazon to show they were never counterfeit. This cannot be easily done and they stated it would be passed on to their legal team and they would be back in touch, I however get the impression its not a priority and may well just be lost in the system and not done before Amazon conclude the case.
I guess i ask if anyone's had a counterfeit conclusion before and kept their account? We have approx 200 sales per day, over 500 SKU's in FBA and its only these 3 with a problem like this. Would it be a drop in account health or could it be a straight deactivation?
To add, these 3 ASINS have the Intellectual property warnings on the account health page, again i cannot appeal this without a letter from the supplier explaining what has actually happened.
Thanks

Why would you ever agree to keep selling their products when they've shown they're willing to destroy yours and their other sellers' livelihoods with this type of nonsense????
Get the brand owner to retract the complaint. I would personally be looking at taking legal counsel on the issue, especially if you have communications that prove they're intentionally falsely reporting counterfeiting!
