Not Impressed!

Being very short sighted and naïve I have just discovered various shipped items that Amazon are saying are missing from my delivered inventory.

For instance I sent in 10 items which cost me about £15 each. Amazon say they received only 6. After opening a case they still say only 6 items were received so any profit has now gone. On checking I have had four previous shipments were items were missing and honestly I can count to ten!
One shipment was a few months back and now they have found my missing inventory within 24 hours.
I imagine I have to write this off as they seem to want chapter and verse to respond to me.

On a side note do Amazon actually ever patrol the forum and try to help or is it just other sellers?

you need to check the shipments are delivered - and a the correct quantities
amazon give a date for you to reconcile and you need to keep an eye on that

there are amazon mods, but they will only look into cases etc for you
if you’ve missed the reconcile date, they won’t be able to do anything for you

from previous threads, the stock was RA so you may struggle going forward if you are asked for invoices / supply chain

Sadly this seems to happen quite often, thankfully my items are all low value so I just write them off, its not worth my time and effort chasing it up.

In future you need to keep an eye on your shipment screen, after they have finished counting it, if you think it is wrong you can upload an invoice (to prove you owned the stock) and request a recount. Sometimes they find them, sometimes they don’t

Though if its RA like Littleshop says, then its unlikely they will accept your receipts, as they tend to like invoices from genuine wholesalers if you are listing as new, once your items have been sold by a retailer, then they have technically been sold to a consumer, and after that its considered a consumer to consumer resale of goods which are now considered used.

I’ve had this happen, then lo & behold a day after the apparent shortage, Amazon are selling the item directly and we have never sold to them as vendor. Very suspect and the demands from SS to prove delivery are rather excessive.
