Reactivate Account?
Unfortunately i’m unable to provide a utility bill under my name as I don’t pay for utilities in my household. I provided one under my mother’s name with her permission and I also provided an image of my birth certificate. I tried appealing twice with the images and I also explained why it’s not under my name but they don’t get approved. What else can I do?

This scenario has arisen many times, and forum moderators have said in the past that you can supply a bill and explain the relationship between the name on the bill and yourself - BUT we have never had anyone come back and say if that worked or not.
As above, the easiest is a mobile phone contract.

No, what jillyb1 has said is accurate, they do say you can use a parents bill and verify the relationship, but it never actually seems to work.
They require the bill for know your customer, if you want to get selling, getting a cheap mobile contract is easiest.

• Display matching information (such as your ID number or name) that you use to register to sell on Amazon
• Be scanned images, or a photo taken from your mobile device’s camera (no screenshots)
• Display the full document (front and back, if applicable)
• Be less than 10MB in size
• Be in one of these formats: gif, png, jpg, pdf, and docx.
• Do not include special characters in the file name (examples: $, &, or #)
• Be authentic and unaltered
• Name and address must be visible.
• If a utility bill for the given address is not under your name, provide a utility bill associated to the address used to register, and any other supporting documents that prove you are operating from that address, even if the bill is not under your name.
• Must be issued within the last 90 days.
We understand that Utility bill is not under your name and you have provided birth certificate as an alternative that was rejected.
Before submitting the document, you need to ensure that the name on the document must match the information entered in Seller Central.

Hi Grace, as crazy as it sounds and it may seem like I’m giving you ridiculous advice here, but just send the utility bill in your mothers name, explain why it’s not in your name and if it gets rejected, resend the same document but explain in a different way… It’s the definition of insanity, but it’s worked for me many times for a variety of different appeals, I’m almost certain 90% of Amazon is AI, the only time I know I’m not speaking to AI is if I call and even then I’m not sure!
