Scam or just odd customer?

I wonder if anyone has seen this before, I had a customer order on the 24th of June, which was shipped on the 27th.
Message received by customer on the 6th July (Not the same name as on the customers delivery address):-
06-Jul-2022 08:36

Please do not send I no longer require this item.

I replied with:-
Hello Name
Your card was sent on Monday and should be with you today. Please let me know if you want to refund this
Many thanks
Hannah.

No reply from customer until an A to Z on the 11th of July and immediate refund from amazon. Reason package did not arrive.

I have that A to Z under review as I do not think this should impact my metrics as I offered an immediate refund.

This morning I have received another message from buyer:-
14-Jul-2022 11:34

I have not received this item please resend

My response:-

Hello, This order is currently on a A to Z claim and has been fully refunded Many thanks Hannah

We were not able to send this message to your customer’s e-mail address because the e-mail was bounced by their e-mail service provider. The customer can still see this message in their Inbox on Amazon Retail Website.

So is the customer a bit thick or is it a dropshipper attempting to get another card as well as the refund?
The A to Z is still under review but the order shows as fully refunded.
It is a very low value item so not really fussed but would like to know what anyone else thinks.

Hit the mark as important button when you send a response if the message is bouncing back. When the order is marked as dispatched the order can no longer be changed is a communication sent via Amazon. If they haven’t received the order raise a claim with Royal Mail.
