Good day, I hope you are well. Last year we change our company name and that was approved by company house uk and issue us only document incorporated change of name. But on 14 feb amazon KYC VERIFICATION popup. Now they want the statute document and the message is

'Business name on submitted Statutes should be new company name

Submitted Statutes should contain Articles of Association and a share allotment document (statement of Capital/ Annual return/ share register)'

Now we have incorporated model articles document but on my old company would i submit that.

I have been able to provide all the information to complete my account verification for Amazon UK but i cannot complete this that they are requesting,

Submitted Statutes should contain Articles of Association and a share allotment document (statement of Capital/ Annual return/ share register).

My business is registered as a sole proprietorship in Canada. As far as my understanding is, this document that they are requesting you can only get if you have your business incorporated.

How can I complete this step or bypass it?

If you are unsure what a Statute Document is – I was – it can be found on the Companies House website. Go to your company profile – then under the ‘More’ tab download the ‘company information snapshot’ pdf.

Upload the pdf to Amazon and you should be verified within 24 hrs.
