Same ASIN matched to all 850 of our EAN codes
Hi everyone,
In desperation I am turning here in the hopes that someone has seen this problem before, as at the moment I am stuck in a loop with seller support.
We have been selling on Amazon for a couple of years. We have 30 new products that we have manufactured and want to start selling. We purchase our barcodes (EANs) directly from GS1.
When trying to upload the new products to Amazon, we get the following error:
The value ‘XX’ (our brand) specified cannot be used as it conflicts with the value ‘LAIFANKE’ for ASIN Z in the Amazon catalogue. If this is ASIN ‘BXYZ’, update the value to match the ASIN data. If this is a different product, update identifying information (UPC/EAN/Part Number/etc).
I know that error is not usual (as when someone hijacks your product), but what is unusual is that we are getting the exact same error for all 850 of our remaining EAN codes (and yes I have tried them all ). Furthermore, the ASIN BXYZ does not even exist in the catalogue.
Anyone have any idea what I can do? Seller support has no clue, just tells me to add the product and request the catalogue team to change the details. Which I cannot do since the ASIN does not exist.
Thank you.

Do all your barcodes begin 076443 . If you do a search in “Add a Product” from the seller dashboard there are quite a lot of listing for Laifanke ceramics , most of which are not active. For example code 0764430576640. If not , have you tried putting one of your codes into the Add a Product and see where it takes you. Might be worth a call to GS1 as possibly someone has hijacked the barcodes allocated to you. Sure I’ve seen a mention of something like this on here previously.
