Amazon FBA Global Shipping Programme
Hello, new here, nice to meet you all. obviously things wont be happening at the moment due to Covid-19. but once things are back to normal - what is the process for using Amazon FBA and the Global Shipping programme? does anyone have a step by step guide? I have read the articles but certain things to not make too much sense. I am looking to import in a batch of Rugs and use the Amazon shipping programme, can anyone help with a how to guide just to ensure I have not missing any steps for what I think is the correct process. Thanks in advance.

- If they’re going to be sold under your own brand you need to create the Amazon catalogue listing. You’ll probably need register with GS1 for barcodes or request a GTIN exemption.
- When the product is in the catalogue, create a sales listing (price, fulfilment method etc)
- Click “Send/replenish inventory” and create a shipment to FBA (remember to review the inbound shipment and prep guides available from seller university and in the help section)
- Wait for your products to get into inventory.
There are a few different export programmes:
- Allow Amazon to buy your products (They’ll buy them from you and ship them abroad, so Amazon buy them at your home marketplace rate) https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/gp/help/201986950
- FBA Export (Amazon ship it from your inventory, possibly higher FBA fees but saving on VAT) https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/gp/help/200149570?ref=ag_200149570_shel_xx
- Build International Listings (so you sell on other marketplaces, beware higher FBA fees) https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/gp/help/G202121570
- Multi-country inventory (need to be VAT registered in the countries in which you hold stock) https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/gp/help/G201408390
- Pan-EU (need to be VAT registered in 7 countries) https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/gp/help/help-page.html?itemID=201855460&ref=ag_201855460_bred_202083140
Also because they’re rugs make sure they comply with the relevant standards, maybe Fire Safety Regulations 1988, 1989, 1993, 2010?
