A-Z refund and Amazon fees
Hello everyone. Happy Bank Holiday weekend.
I have just had my first A-Z automatically granted due to the customer not collecting the item from the post office and I have a few questions if anyone would be so kind as to help me.

I had no notification of the A-Z, only the email notifying me of the automatic refund. Is this normal or only for automatic refunds? Do I need to add A-Z claim checking to my daily dashboard checks moving forward?

Am I correct in thinking that Amazon retain their fees for this item? So even though I did everything as I should, delivered on time, perfect condition, informed the customer when she sent an enquiry email that it was awaiting collection/redelivery at her local depot etc, I have paid for the privilege of the customer not collecting their order and it being RTS?
Many thanks

In cases where the tracking does not confirm delivery, then yes they are automatically granted. You always have a right to appeal, but no point in doing this as you acknowledge that the item was not delivered.

Has the item actually been returned to you? The danger is that now the customer has had the refund, via the A-Z, they will collect the parcel and keep it.
