Read onlyHello,
I received a email a few weeks back, stating that Amazon wants documents to verify that my company is established in the UK for VAT etc.
This is the most recent email I received after submitting my company certificate and UTR letter:
---------------------------------------
Hello,
We reviewed your account and the additional information that you provided. We have concluded that your selling account has failed the business establishment verification process that is associated with your value-added tax (VAT), and your account will remain deactivated.
Amazon Services Europe
---------------------------------------
I submitted every document they requested and everything I had for the previous emails.
Certificate of Incorporation
UTR Number
Bank statements
Passport ID of director (UK citizen)
Bank statements of director
Invoice from suppliers
My company is UK based, the director (me) is UK based.
It's really frustrating now and I'm not sure what to do, I keep submitting documents and appealing the decision, but it keeps going in circles.
My company is registered at a virtual office address, the directors address is a UK address too.
I am under the VAT threshold.
Please, if anyone can help I would really appreciate it.
I am thinking that it is the virtual address that is causing the problem - as it is mostly non-UK sellers that use virtual addresses, and there are multiples of sellers use these. I do not know how to resolve the issue, unless you can change your address to your home address ? Amazon do not seem to like virtual addresses where you do not actually run your business from.
@Julia_Amzn @Winston_Amazon @Jona_Amazon could I please have help with this. I am left absolutely stranded with no reason why my documents are being rejected.
Hello @Seller_Qc06UqjfxHmLf,
This is Sarah with Amazon.
I see that you have created a new thread regarding this topic.
In order to avoid confusion, I will be closing this thread as a duplicate of Help for Virtual Office VAT Establishment
Kind regards,
Sarah.
