Zero sales today - New seller - Poss issues?
Hi. Topic covered a few times that i have come across but just looking for possible problem and solution.
New seller. Only started last week. Sales were ok for the days following.
Today nothing. I get markets, disposable cash, energy hikes etc.
But my account health is good. No problems i can see. Changed number of orders i can process in a day to a value (as it was blank).
BUT my late despatch rate is 4.65% which is only 2 orders (as i say first few days etc). Also i tried to list a product i have bought for resale and its been flagged and removed as a restricted product policy violation. This was applied before my trying to list it, and i did not know that it was restricted given it is a simple travel mug, but i am not arguing about it.
Is it poss they blocked me for the day, like putting me in the sin bin?

This could have an affect on your account as could this
Are you selling fbm or fba and can you still find your asins in the search and your offers on those asin ?
Of course 1 week in also means it could just be a quiet day for you

We’ve had in the past week our 2 worst days in 3 years and also 2 of the best January days in 3 years.
Strange times still at the moment, loads of factors especially this late in January.
All the best with sales picking up and hoping its just a slow day.

Friday and Saturday are always slow days for me, then it picks up on Sunday.

You are a new account it can take 90 days to get fully established. We had 3 months of hardly any sales when we first opened with almost 2000 products listed and as soon as the 3 months were over all of a sudden we started getting over 100 orders a day and been like that ever since . But this week has been a lot quieter for many of us.

I didnt worry too much, it is very early days for me. I have got three orders today and its still early really, and i know thats not many vs all the long time traders, but i am still grateful.
I am sending at the moment FBM, i needed to make sure that i had the right stock before I bought loads of inventory and sent them over to be FBA. I think its been a good plan to be honest, had i spent lots on products that are not selling i could have really got into to trouble from a cash flow point of view. At the moment i am getting a grip on what is good for the market.
I did use my time last night looking through some of the posts on this forum, and found the withdrawal of long term traders due to the problems/difficulties they faced from Amazon and their changes to policy etc. This was interesting for me, and i think supports my thinking about not putting everything in to Amazon and working both Amazon and Ebay with the view to have my own online shop (one day).
Anyway, thanks everyone. I am happy to wear my newbie hat for a good while yet!
