New Amazon Seller Account
Hi Everyone,
I hope this finds you all well this evening.
New seller here hoping to obtain a better response than I am able to receive from Amazon’s seller central help function. I recently opened a seller account and have received and delivered in excess of 160 orders to date via FBM methods. My account is listed as active however on the payment dashboard I have substantial sum of sales proceeds held in reserve.
I did not receive a payment at the first payment cycle. i put this down to being a fairly new seller however the sum of money held in reserve seems to be growing rather than appearing in my available funds. I have two questions really, do funds appear as available on the date specified by Amazon as the date the next payment is due to initiate for disbursement or should it be beforehand if all is ok with my account? My second qurey is, as a new seller on Amazon, is there a minimum period of time required to lapse before Amazon releases the funds? My understanding was that it should be every second week?
Hoping this makes sense to sellers who have more experience of the Amazon selling journey. My Initial opinion on the platform has been one of frustration. Any hints or tips would be much appreciated.
Thank you

They should be held in reserve for approx 2 weeks after each order is placed , depending on your delivery dates and tracking methods
Although could be held for longer if there is a velocity review on your account
Go to settings, account info, bank account information and check it has the green verified tick next to your bank account info
Also, is your ltd company account fully verified ? Have you sent amazon your articles of association, statutes etc ?

Just to check also, in account info, next to account status does it say ‘valid’ and under business information is it your limited company name and details?

It would appear that you are passing yourself off as EH Solutions Ltd., which is a long established limited company. I would imagine they will sue you into the ground if they find out.
