I can't get buy box
Hello,
I’ve been selling on amazon as FBA for 3 months. So far, I have over 30 orders and 1 return.
The first product I uploaded had several vendors listed. When I give the buybox price in this list, the buybox is converted to me and my buybox rate increases up to 30% and I can sell.
But I can’t win any kind of buybox in the last 2 products I installed. Although I give the same price and the same service quality as the competitor buybox in these lists (shipping time and free shipping), the buybox never returns to me. The competitor’s store comment number is 16 and I don’t have any.
Isn’t it strange though that the buybox is never converted to me?
In order to buy a buybox on this list, I only need to break a price of at least 0.15-0.20 GBP, and this affects the profitability of the list.
What is the reason of this? According to what criteria is the buybox affected, apart from the general metrics we know?
Thanks…

your competitor has 100% feedback (although with strike throughs) where you have none (apart from the 2 struck through) so that may prioritise them however, it also go on location of stock so if you have stock nearer to a buyer than they do, you may still get sales
don’t forget to allow for your VAT too as you are not based in UK and therefore VAT registered

Are both of these products in FBA also? If so, are you using a repricing software? You also have to factor in the amount of reviews both you and your competitor have.

Yes, I only sell FBA. I use Amazon automatic price to give buy box price. And this seller which has buy box almost %100 on this list has 16 review only. The shipping time and other conditions are same with me. You can check the Asın and see about it. B08NJTWWDX.
Do ı miss anything?
Please let me know.

Thank you for your explanations. Yes. My company not based in uk but ı have my VAT registration in UK. Any advice you can give to increase my buybox rate?
Thank you.

unfortunately no as you seem to already have automated pricing - as so does your competitor by the look of it
VAT registration does sometimes go in your favour but it will just be a case of time and more sales as well as stock location
