Help Needed: Brand Registry Application Rejected Due to Verification Issues
Hi everyone,
I recently applied for Amazon Brand Registry, but my application was rejected. The reason given was:
"This decision was made since we could not verify the registered business name and business identifier (e.g., tax ID number or business ID number) provided by you at the time of submitting the Brand Registry enrollment form. If the name of the business owning the trademark is incorrectly updated on the USPTO website, please make sure you update the business information correctly on the USPTO website first before submitting your new Brand application. Brand Registry sources the business name from the USPTO website, and hence any incomplete or inaccurate information on the USPTO website associated with your trademark may negatively impact your application."
I have a sole proprietorship and possess an EIN, TM serial number, and TM submission form, but I'm confused about what specific things I need to check or verify from this information. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

Most likely, that is because the names/addresses do not match on all the documents sent, and to your Amazon account user name. If you are using your personal name and have a business name that is different, it helps if documents are names "YOUR NAME TA BUSINESS NAME. That way the reviewing Rep can literally see that you and your business are one in the same.

I see you uploaded some documents to the appeal case but I wanted to see if you could attach any documentation you have with your tax number/EIN so I can take that to the team!
I've had some success when presenting those type of documents so please let me know.
