Spelling mistakes

Hello,

I’m new to selling on Amazon and I’m currently going through the verification process. I noticed that I made a typical typo when entering my store name and Company registration number when I created the account.

The company registration number I entered when creating my account is literally missing ONE digit than the actual company number and the store name doesn’t match the company name as it’s missing one letter in the name.

This is probably nothing to be overly concerned with as it’s clear that’s it’s a silly typo I made but will these 2 spelling mistakes affect the verification process for me when I upload my business bank statement, personal bank statement and my current appointment report?

I have sent an email to the verification team as well as the Amazon payment team (they directed me to verification team) and I haven’t recieved an answer yet.

I would greatly appreciate any help you guys can give me.

Thanks for your time reading this! Much appreciated!

In a word, YES.

You details need to match exactly.
All you can do is to inform them and hopefully, they will get around to allowing you to change the details.

Yes. All the documentation needs to match the information entered. You need to get it corrected as soon as possible. You could try contacting seller-verification-enquiry@amazon.co.uk

Thank you for the responses guys I greatly appreciate it.

I already sent an email to the verification team earlier today but still haven’t recieved any meaningful response.

How long does it normally take them to respond?
