New Seller card verification

Hi,

I apologise if this isn’t the right place to post or if this query has already been mentioned here but I’ve struggled to find any real advice.

I have set up my amazon seller as a business account (yes, bad advice from Youtube) my full ID, business details and bank account have been fully verified. My card has also had verification charges taken out and I received an email to say it’s verified and I can now sell on Amazon. Amazon shows my account as valid and the UK market as ready to list (I have put the other European countries on holiday.) I also have received multiple emails to confirm my account and card are now verified and I am able to sell. However, when I go to list a product, it gives me a message that my card is invalid or currently being verified.

This has been happening for the past 2 weeks. My bank account and card are with a high street bank in my personal name (the account I was going to use is an online bank and not supported so I’ll have to open another one shortly.) and all addresses for the business and my home address are the same and match my business details. I have an open case with Amazon but am losing faith that this will ever be sorted. Has anyone come across this is the past? I have no alerts stating I need to provide information and only get the card verification or invalid card message when I try to list a product. My card and bank however both show active and verified? Is there something I’m missing or doing wrong?
Thanks in advance

It’s not bad advice. If you are planning on buying and selling for a profit, you must be a business

You could have become a sole trader though as another option to ltd

Going by your user name , you are a ltd company therefore your bank for funds to be transferred to must be in your ltd company name
The card however, can be in your name

The card - is it a credit card or debit ?
Is it a prepay card
Is there more than 6 months until expiry
Does the billing address you entered match the statement ?

Hi @Champy_Merch_Ltd,

Pia is here to help you with your concerns.

After reading through the thread, it appears that your selling account has been verified and you are now able to sell.

You have, however, mentioned

Are you still having problems while listing the products?

If yes, kindly reach out to the Selling Partner support team by clicking here

Also, you have mentioned

If you received an email stating that your account has been verified and there are no alerts on the account, it means that everything is in order and you can begin selling.

Do let us know if you have any other questions.

Regards,

Pia

Just an update for anyone else who has/is having this issue. It seems it was a technical error due to a charge being stuck in the system. The finance team needed to force the payment through and once done my account was activated immediately
