Suffocating warning
Hi I’m a new seller and I’m hoping to sell jackets and coats I’m totally new to it and i have been looking into trying fba. Is it really worth going for fba? Also the packaging I have dosnt have the suffocating warning on it is this a problem? And what are the cost like for using fba because the jackets and coats are large items some with a good weight
Thanks in advance for any advice

As you are shipping the item, put a label on each bag, ensure bags comply with holes in them, to prevent suffocation, etc
NOTE: clothing can be returned and is at your cost, not that of the Buyer, so if I buy 4 coats and keep 1 I like, you pay for the return of the other 3.
If not as new though, you can apply a fee, but may get bad feedback, etc.
If FBA, then as mentioned, they will accept back anything and just refund it. So add 25% say for returns to be binned - if then not competitive, you may not sell any of course.
Seller PRIME is another option, if Amazon allow you to apply, you send PRIME next day delivery, but you process the returns (Amazon can still refund the Buyer if they moan at a partial refund of say 50% and then you attempt a claim with Amazon to pay for their refund choice)

You will find that you experience a huge amount of “wardrobing” for which you have to eat the cost, as Amazon will accept back any return and will not quibble with the customer over the state of it, even if obviously worn for that special occasion, or even for a month, and then sent back.
Only consider FBA if your margins are high enough, therefore, to accommodate a very high return rate

Thanks for your quick response!
I think I’ll leave FBA for now until I find my feet on amazon I have no idea how fast or slow the products will sell yet.
What about the suffocating warning on th packaging then, is that still needed if ik not using FBA
