Return Item used
Hi I had a request for a return (item not working) I accepted the return which arrived today. On further inspection it looks like a different item has been returned. I.e all the screws to the casing have been tampered with. Anyone else had this happen and how did you deal with it please?. Only 1 part of the item has been removed from packaging so unsure as to how they know it is not working

You can refund minus the cost of loss of value caused by the damage/ removed parts or ask the buyer to provide you a pre-paid return label if he wants to get his item back.

A sad possibility is that the customer might have had this item earlier and it broke so he purchased a new and replaced the broken part => replacement free of charge for him.
I bought a power tool (a handheld drill, like Dremel) at Lidl and when opening it it did not work. When I looked more closely I saw it was another model. So the previous customer bought the drill because his old Lidl drill did not work any longer, he replaced and went back to the store, said he changed his mind, got his money back, Lidl just put the box back on the shelf and we bought it. I was really upset!
