FBA Shipment error

Hi,

I sent a shipment in last week and realised I put a product into the box without mentioning it in the shipment (My fault). what normally happens in this scenario will they just scan them and add them into my inventory? if anyone has any advice thanks

There is nothing that you can do about it now.
However, assuming it is labelled, then more than likely it will be received.

Hello Abdul,

First off, your items will get received!

Now sometimes, they may add this as an inbound performance error.

Do not worry about this, as you may get a scary email saying that they temporarily suspended Shipment creation on your account !!!DO NOT WORRY!!! This happens whenever there is any slight issue with your shipments and only requires you to acknowledge the problem. this will break the suspension and you can go about your day.

If you get this error, then It will show up in red as an inbound shipment issue on your Manage FBA shipments page, you click on the red notice, and it will ask you to acknowledge that you have sent this item that was not on the shipment with some information on how to improve your systems/check the loads before sending them to amazon. It will log it under your shipment performance dashboard.

And it will look like the picture below… as you can see, this recently happened to me.

just so you know, this same issue can happen on anything from extra items, to being unable to scan barcodes and incorrectly prepped products.
