Rights Owner issue
Hi,
We sell wine via amazon and have for a few years now! If any issued ever came up the customer was always able to return their items if they wanted to. Now due to amazon only using hermes and royal mail for returns, both these options do not allow for wine to be returned with them as they see it as hazardous goods… This means that if there is ever an issue the customer gets to keep the product and get a refund. Has anyone else got any idea how we can use amazons return portal to actually get our returns back?

How did you get returns back before?

There maybe an option under the exclusion list you can use and therefore still upload your own return labels

As per above, hazardous goods as well as grocery and wine fall outside of Amazon’s standard process and should be for you to review.and then issue your own label.

If it shows as a hazmat return, you get to provide your own label.

Or if your bottles magically change into 2m in length or over 16kilos…

Strangely enough as a buyer recently I needed to return something that Hermes wouldnt take (no option to print Royal Mail either). So was told my Amazon in the return details to get it sent but what ever means and send in the receipt and it would be refunded.
Although I send 100’s of items a weeks directly from here via Royal Mail, it has to be somewhere that gives an ‘official’ receipt, Ie: post office counter, online booking platform.
Not ideal but it worked.
