Your Amazon.co.uk selling privileges have been removed
If you can help it would be great as we really do not know how to handle this.
We sell mainly Greeting cards and balloons, usually in and around £2 to £4. We use RM through our OBA account. We also use click and drop 2nd class for small parcels, like party poppers.
This morning all of the items we sell under the toys category have been removed and replaced with: [Inactive (Ineligible for seller-fulfillment)
The problem we have is we will never use a tracking service for items with such little value, and we are being asked to provide the following: To reactivate your seller-fulfilled listings, submit a plan of action that explains: – The root causes that led to a lower than expected Valid Tracking Rate. – The actions you have taken to resolve the lower than expected Valid Tracking Rate. – The steps you have taken to prevent a lower than expected Valid Tracking Rate going forward.
How do we create a plan of action when we wont be using a tracked service? There are around 800 items that we now cant sell
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

How do you mark your items as shipped on amazon ?
P.s you’re not supposed to send party poppers via RM - they are on the prohibited list

i sell items around the same price. i manually mark my items as franked postage and my vtr isn’t affected. i have sent 13 items via signed for and only 12 had been scanned so my VTR is affected that way. amazon is killing off sellers selling small items. our days are numbered.

We had around 700 items removed today due to this same reason. Although we have recently set up a Royal Mail Business account and have been using it for about 2 weeks now, so we should be ok.
I would say, set a Royal Mail business account up as prices are cheaper than franked and you will still be able to trade on Amazon.
It is ridiculous that they give you no warning, or time to rectify it.

I sell stickers for around £2-£3, unable to send tracked so Amazon removed them all.
Had a heated conversation with Seller support who called me today who said i need to sort or they will remove my seller privileges all together.
I have searched varous options but none that i can send for around the £1 mark tracked

They did the same to me. Took about 2500 CDs off and left me with about 100 books etc.
They didn’t make it clear that you had to mark shipping as Stamped/Franked - I simply selected RM 2nd Class.
The Stamped/Franked option was lower down the menu so I never saw it until it was too late.
Giving up on Amazon - way too much hassle for the return especially with their fees.

Hi Everybody,
We to have had about 1500 items removed, we were using the Royal Mail 1st or 2nd Class option.
I have spoken to customer services who have confirmed it is confusing but just to start clicking the Royal Mail Stamp/ Franking options instead of the 1st or 2nd Class option.
Maybe Amazon need to make this more clear.
Please note you do not need to use Tracking, if you go to Amazon Tracking FAQ bullet point 6 reads:
6. What should I do if my carrier does not provide a tracking number/ID?
You do not have to provide us tracking number for orders delivered as untracked letters or delivered through untracked delivery methods.
Thanks.

Your only other option would be FBA then.
You better get cracking and send in your stock ASAP so it arrives and is checked in / available for sale in time for Black Friday / Cyber Monday weekend.

Can someone clarify is it 1st class or 2nd class stamped/franked, or just the stamped/franked option, as I assumed they would be the same

Hi. I had 253 ASINS deactivated on 27th October. I submitted a plan of action on 30th October (see the link of example plan of action and do it yourself https://amazingmarketer.in/amazon/account-suspension/plan-of-action-appeal-letter - you don’t need complicated language…just your real explanation and how you will improve), my appeal was approved and they told me all the listings will be reinstated in 24hours. This hasn’t happened so far…I haven’t had a single sale since 27th October, went back and forth with emails and no one seems to sort it out. Today I had to copy and paste all the affected ASINS and send them to them by email (!!!). They said they passed the problem to technical and like Greta Thunberg…blah blagh bla and bla bla bla.
You are worried now with the action plan, wait until they reinstate 800 asin’s. I think they bit more than they can chew, deactivating listings left and right. Good luck
