BUY POSTAGE Prices
I have finally given in and bought my postage through Amazon. I have printed off the labels and sellotaped them on to the parcels. They look fine.
However, a couple of things are confusing me:
-
I have sent my parcels “2nd Class Small Parcel”. The price through Amazon was £2.99. When I buy the postage from the PO, it is £3.40. Is this Amazon price correct? I don’t want the customer to have to make up the shortfall.
-
How / where do I pay when I buy my postage through Amazon? It hasn’t come out of my Amazon account, or my bank or credit card account.
-
There is no tracking ref when I buy through Amazon. Is this correct for 2nd Class Small Parcels?
Many thanks

Yes its the correct price - as long as you’ve entered the correct weight and dimensions
The money is deducted from your available funds
It won’t give you a tracking number as its not a tracked service

From tomorrow onwards I will be buying my postage via Amazon (like I have a choice!!) when printing the label, is there an option to arrange parcels to be collected from my home? I have been using this system for weeks now and it is very convenient.
