Sellers email address on Amazon profile

I have spent today delisting books that I have had for sale for a long time, before doing this I was looking at other copies and prices. A seller who was selling one of the same books as me had on his seller profile "If you want to buy, email me and his email address. Surely this is not allowed, and if not why has Amazon failed to pick up on it?
