New seller account deactivated - no response
Hi,
We are new to Amazon and we are trying to setup an account. After Amazon asking quite some documents, we provided and it all went well with verification. But then it got stuck on 25th of November.
In the Appeal, they have requested below information, that we provided. No other information was requested since then, no reply whatsoever.
Should we wait for Amazon to reply? Is it normal to take so long or should we escalate somehow? And how can we escalate, if this is the option? Thanks for helping.

This time of year it is very normal and can take up to 30 days for a response.

I am in the same situation.
Registered an account with amazon, hoped to start selling before black friday it was immediately suspended for god knows what reson, than Amazon asked to provide documents I provided all the documents, Passport photo, utility bill photo, bank statement photo, letter from HMRC confirming my UTR again sent a photo, on 23 November recevied email from amazon:
“Your Amazon.co.uk account is under review. During the review process, you will not be able to sell on Amazon.co.uk.”
… and silence. No more messages from amazon, no requestes or anything just silence.
How is that normal?

This time of year Amazon will take as long as they can to approve anything. I believe the best option would be to wait, as nothing will be be verified until January.

Thing is i am not 100% sure what they actually require as documentation as there response is so vague. I have submitted 6 different docs and still waiting.
My case appeal is still waiting to be answered.

Me also facing same problem i have create my account in end of Nov. after 4 Dec they didn’t give me any reply even i submit all require doc via email and also uploaded on account still idetity doc showing under review on account and Bank account showing verified. I have submit 2 times emails. But no response.

I had the same issue they took payment and then deactivated the account and despite having a buyers account for over 20 years they could still not verify me. It doesn’t fill you with confidence if they cannot get this right and it does seem to be a widespread issue. I have opened cases just to have them closed without responses. It’s like they have an offshore company handling these issues who are judged on how many cases they have open… I am glad this happened before I started selling I have heard of some traders having nightmares with this. It’s a pity because if they got it sorted it could be a really good platform, but at the moment it does seem to be a bit hit and miss…
