Suspected Intellectual Property Violations Help
I sell cosmetics, Amazon have started taking listings off for Suspected Intellectual Property Violation - [Potential Trademark Logo Misuse], with no warning just an immediate random violation.
I did not create any of these listings or provide any information towards them or provided any images, I have just listed my genuine item on the listing already created.
I do not understand why I am being penalised for this, surely it is the creator of the listing that should have the violation? The items I have are branded and genuine and there is no reason I can see why I have had this happen or how I can rectify this?
Can anyone shed any light on this? the whole listing has vanished from Amazon so removed from their catalogue entirely. If they have decided to take it off then that;s fine, but I don’t understand why I am being penalised for it? My account is now at risk but I have no clue as to what I can do?

Do you have permission from the brand to sell the items?

If they are suspected violations you can fix them by editing your listing (title, description, bullet points etc). All you need to know is what the violating data is and where it is.
For example if the brand showing on the product page is Rimmel and you have max factor in your description, removing the max factor would fix the listing.
Another example might be if the brand on the listing is Rimmel and you have Rimmel London, you would need to edit yoru data to match that of the listing. Then it will automatically fix and the violation will be removed.
