Unreasonable suspecious customer
I had a customer placing two orders from us three weeks ago. He messaged us though Amazon asking for discount becasue he wanted to buy in bulk. The item he wanted to buy is what we are trying to clear out and we are losing money already(Orignal price is 13.99 and now clearout price is 40% off with prime,8.39). He wanted to buy it for 6pounds. Apparently we cannot do that as we are losing a little bit of money already even for 8.39 pounds.
On 29th Nov, he sent me this message:
“hello i bought 3 items today and i will give you the order numbers tomorrow but you have to give me a discount now that’s enough because now you have to give me a discount”
Then in the next two days he placed 11 orders.
Later on, I received this message from him:
hello
I bought these two products, but when I opened the box, the packaging was watery and smelled. I’m sorry I threw it away because it’s poisonous and can transmit disease, but I’m going to report you to amazon. No one can play with our health. Please refund my money or I will take legal action.
Thank you for your understanding, please pay attention
please return 2 items and send my money
In the meantime, I threw away the products.
One day later, I saw Amazon refunded all of his orders!!! I contacted Amazon with all ways I can think of, like reporting his messages, opened a case saying this is a scam, calling them how specious this customer is.
He left us a one star feedback for everyone order he placed from us. Most of them are deleted but there are still two cannot be deleted. here is what they are:
price increased by 50 percent in one day
the products were fake and the price went up 6 pounds in one day
First, all of our products are fulfilled by Amazon and we had over 100 feedbacks are all of them are 4 or 5 stars. Secondly, we have a brand registered on Amazon.
It is so obversiously this customer is bullying us and just want cheap even free products from us. Our product definally has no problem at all otherwise why he bought so many times. Now I am so angry even everything looks so obverious Amazon still favors the buyer 100%. We as a seller cannot protect us at all! The buyer got a free product and left bad affection to our account and it seems now what we can do is only accepting it!!!
If anyone has any other suggestion please help, we want to fight back rather than letting this kind of customer robbing around on Amaozn!!!

I do not have any suggestions for you, only sympathy. But what has happened to you serves to remind me of the importance of sellers not relying solely on amazon.

Unfortunately, that means you have passed control over all customer problems to Amazon to deal with - it’s part of the FBA package that you pay for. If they decide to refund him, that’s their decision. You do not have to deal with the customer at all and should just ignore their demands
If this is a dropshipper, they don’t seem to be following the usual pattern. They generally claim non-receipt. Don’t think I’ve ever seen any reported on this forum that was demanding discounts or complaining about the state of the goods, especially in that repetitive, childish way - Please pay attention, indeed!
Do tell us what the product was that is so hazardous to your customers’ health!

To thank everyone taking their effort to help me, I am telling you what the product is.
It is rubber pot feet used to rise planter pots. The material is the same as car wheel and the best seller sell the same pack (20pcs)for 14.97pounds and I sell it for 13.99. I packed them myself and I am still as healthy as before I packed them. I planned to clear them out asap so I created a 40% off prime code and after that it was only 8.39 pounds. Btw, I don’t suggest anyone to sell it as the demand is very low and the best seller attract most orders already so it is hard to compete with it.
I don’t live in UK so it is hard for me to send Royal Mails to all of these addresses and ask for their feedbacks. I will try to contact Amazon legal apartment to see if they can help.
What I have done so far:
1.Asking for help from amazon account manager and he suggested me to ask for help from other sellers who have similar experience.
2.Went to performace-feedback-request removal, two of his feebacks cannot be removed
3.Went to Buyer Messages-Report message,haven’t heard from anything yet
4.Creating multiple cases from other account issues and make a suggestion, these cases came back either suggestig me resolving the problem with the customer myself or guide me to remove feedback page or telling me they have no evidence this buyer voilent any policy or some just tell me there is no other way to delet his feedback except from performace-feedback-request removal.
5. One seller support called me and suggested me to report this buyer from Amazon buyer page and report this buyer to amazon service. I did, then amazon buyer support suggested me to contact seller support as I am an amazon seller. Even though I told them it is amazon seller support suggesting me to contact them.
So after all, everything is like a circle. Nobody can really check on my report and investigate what really happened. They always summarize it to one standard thing and follow their process even though I have claimed what my question really is over and over again.

Update: The buyer used another buyer account and keeps buying. I know it is him becasue this buyer sent a similar message claiming he wanted to buy in bulk. Here is his message:
“Hello, if you want to sell your products in bulk, you can message me.flower pot mat.”
Nobody has ever messaged us like this before except him and this buyer also left us a 1 star feedback. OMG!!!
