Why Amazon continuously ask for inputting Passport for KYC while there is only Option of CHINESE NATIONAL ID there

I submitted everything that Amazon requested for my account verification, while they asked me again and again for my Passport number in the Identity Information page. While as I choose China as the Country of Citizenship, there is no Option of Passport for Proof of identity, only Chinese National ID. If I input my passport number there, it shows National ID number is invalid, if I input my National ID there, the verification failed later and they asked passport in email.

I opened cases and reported to Amazon this issue many times. Still no helpful reply. Any Chinese seller has similar issue, what should we do?
