After trying to update old products still for sale, Amazon are canceling some

**I tried to relist products after updating old ones but amazon won’t relist them & they remain inactive. I didn’t know what was going on until pressing the inactive NEW button (at the top of inventory page). It then said ‘Approval Required’ **
Since I only sell mainly second hand items to sell but also a few unused items, getting approval would be difficult because I mainly buy joblots at auctions & a few items from charity shops. They don’t give invoices at auctions but they do read out the lots from a list so there is a record.
Question is. how can you get approved if buying inventory this way?strong text

It sounds like either the brands, ASINs or categories of your products became restricted over time.

This means that you will need to obtain a prior approval in order to be able to sell them again.

Since your account is old, you may get approved automatically, without being asked to submit any documents.

However, if this category is media, it is possible that you won’t be allowed to apply at all.

Its old vinyl records & tapes (not CD or DVDs)
they started taking down a few days ago even without me updating them. These items weren’t selling anyway but it’s still very annoying.
