Does anyone successfully use solely RM Tracked 24 for their SFP orders?
And how often have you been blocked/suspended from SFP due to RM delivery delays?
It is frustrating that Special Delivery is not on the list of delivery services that can be “bought” via Amazon for an SFP package. Would be a handy way of improving metrics on Saturday deliveries.

I don’t use SFP, but I use Tracked24 for my two day premium shipping and Special Delivery for my one day, I don’t think there has ever been a time where I have gone a whole month without being put on the naughty step cause RM delivered late
I had a Special Delivery item take 4 days once! And even when buying Saturday Guarantee (back when you still had to) they regularly didn’t deliver it on Saturdays…

It would appear that late deliveries aren’t a problem with SFP - I have been hovering around the 85% mark for on-time deliveries for a couple of months with no sign of being penalised. It seems that as long as you send on time then it’s all good.

Prior to the enforced use of Evri, we exclusively used Royal Mail Tracked 24.
There were not many issues.
However, the issues that did arise were:
Royal Mail scanning after midnight, so it would trigger a late dispatch, however a late scan wouldn’t necessarily mean late delivery, so that would negate the late scan.
If we did fall below the Late delivery, metric, we would usually get a warning as we would only just be below the %, sometimes it was just a No response warning, however if they did need a response, i had set text about taking full responsibility and it would not happen again and let them know which Child i had sacrificed as punishment!! (Ok, not the last bit).
About every 3rd one it turned into a suspension which required a similar response, accompanied with a Cut and Paste letter from our RM Account Manager, after they had checked you had actually sent the mail in!! Back to SFP relatively quickly.
The most common warning/suspension i got was for the not using Buy Shipping for 95% or 98% of orders, not sure of the amount off the top of my head.
This was usually if a got a spate of Multiple orders to the same customer and address and i used to combine them into a single parcel.
Amazon would only recognise the order that the label was bought with and although i copied the tracking into the other orders, Amazon doesn’t recognise it as bought through Amazon.
But overall, Royal Mail was far better than Amazon logistics and EVRI, who i spent far more time sorting out lost parcels.
If i remember rightly, when we used to use Amazon Logistics, they used to pick up from us in Aldershot and then go to you to pick up before going to their depot!!

Just to let you all know , Rm Tracked 24 and RM Special Delivery services , are now prioritised as 7 day delivery services by RM.
Just checked my tracking, which confirms ,that my T24 deliveries sent out on Sat AM were delivered on Sunday

We used to do SFP with RM24 Tracked and DPD and we could never make it work. We worked Monday to Fridays busting our proverbials and orders that left late were perhaps 1 or 2 in a 1000.
RM would lose a bag or DPD would turn up late or not at all and immediately we would be suspended for 3 months. It was just impossible. We spent more time suspended than operating SFP
We moved to FBA for many smaller items - (which is what I suspect Amazon were trying to force us to do all along.) Went to 24 hour delivery for all our bulky products - Reduced our working week to Monday to Thursday and added a day to our prep time to compensate.
FBA increased sales and most customers seem to be able to wait for our bulky items. And our stress levels have dropped from 110% down to about 60%
I guess my point is there are different business models rather than chasing this 7 day next day work all day model.
Just to add, my stress levels would drop another 50% if I didn’t have to deal with Seller Support

We've been using tracked 24 for SFP for a while now,
In the beginning we got suspended on a weekly basis, luckily enough the Sales rep for RM was very helpful (1 in a million employee for them it seems) he responded to every email we sent over to explain what had gone wrong on RM's side and its been fixed.. however this was a weekly thing of losing Prime for 2 days until one day they seemed to have got their act together.. we still have issues like mentioned above with a whole bag going missing and so on which causes us issues however for the most part we haven't been suspended from the SFP program for a while.
I would however suggest moving away from Evri & RM over the Christmas period if possible.. before their yearly breakdown takes place!
