I'm listing a necklace message card like the image shown im getting this error message:
"We believe the main image has your product in packaging or brand/swing tags which is not permitted for this product type. Please submit a compliant image to lift the suppression. Also refer to Product image requirements."
I'm guessing the bots don't like the text on the message card, but I see plenty of this type of listing on Amazon, so how are their images ok, and mine are getting search suppressed?
Any ideas are gratefully received so I don't throw my laptop out of the window ;)
Thanks Lee
I wouldn't be surprised if it thinks the chain and necklace themselves are flagging the bots because of their placement on the card.
As for what to do to fix that, if it's letting you list but then suppressing, you can raise a case with seller support (or brand registry if you have it) and keep pushing until an actual person deals with it.
Alternatively you could try and shift the necklace in the image to try and stop it triggering the bots.
Often if you take a real life photo with a camera or smart phone, edit it so you have a white background and upload it then this lifts the suppression.
I get this with greeting cards when I use the manufacturers picture. If I then upload one taken myself it normally is accepted.
Is it just the card that is being sold, or does it come with the necklace?
Assuming its being sold in jewellery, amazon are very specific about the images, so as above - its likely it assumes its a necklace and doesn't want there to be packaging.
If you are ONLY selling the packaging, that is what the primary image should be of. You can show the item in situ in futher images, just not the primary one.
Hey there @Seller_cXglBNGxEKn9L,
Thanks for the thread! You got some quality posts here, can you let me know how it went in the end?
