My identity could not be verified
My last name changed because I got married, my old last name is on my credit card, my account was closed for no other reason than that and I think it was a mistake.
We were unable to verify the information you provided when registering for a Selling on Amazon payment account and, as a result, your Selling on Amazon payment account could not be opened. Unfortunately, this means that you will not be able to continue to sell on Amazon.
We leveraged a combination of automated means and expert human review to identify this issue and make this decision.
Please take appropriate steps to resolve any open orders. Note that any amounts paid as a result of A-to-z Guarantee claims and chargebacks may be deducted from the balance in your existing Seller Account.

Hello @Seller_BCYTD4xPCreN5,
Thank you for posting on Forums!
This is Sarah with Amazon.
I've checked your case with the partner team, and they have confirmed that your account is now verified. You should have received a performance notification about this a few hours ago.
Could you please confirm?
Best regards,
Sarah.

Amazon de-activated my account in November last year because they said I had not passed their verification process, despite telling me in an email a week previously at the end of October that I HAD passed their verification process. Despite my protests that I had had an Amazon seller account for 12 years and that in that period NOTHING had changed that would require re-verification, Amazon refused to re-activate my account.
I am owed £392.09 for product that I had supplied to Amazon's customers in September 2025 and there had/have been no returns of any kind. Amazon are now refusing to pay me that sum because they say that the documents they required me to supply in the last week verifying my account, which were my passport, bank statement and Companies House registration were fraudulent. This is completely untrue and libellous.
This is just theft.
