Can I print the ASIN and barcode info directly onto packaging?
Hi All
I have a new (branded private label) ASIN. I am ordering the outer packaging (simple white box) and wonder if I can PRINT DIRECTLY onto it the ASIN and barcode info that Amazon have generated for the product?
In other words, rather than putting a SKU label on each box, can I just have it printed onto the packaging itself (along with other info) and save the work of adding it each time?!
Advice from Amz is unclear to me but I can see in their guidance they DO talk about printing onto packaging, so clearly it’s allowed. I just don’t want to get it wrong and have stocking problems when I send stock in.
If I do print directly onto my outer box, is it just the ASIN and barcode that AMZ gave me…or should it be my own GTIN number instead? (I am assuming size and clarity should match the usual SKU labels etc)
thanks if anyone has gone through the same dilemma

Very simple. Yes you can.
If you are using FNSKU to send goods in and not the gtin/ean barcode, you just need that on the outer box together with the barcode and text description and new/used, as supplied by Amazon, in the same format as given by Amazon when you print the labels via FBA inventory or shipment creation.
Many of my items just have fnsku/barcode visible on the outside.
I’m assuming that it’s 1 unit per box.

Thanks so much for the succinct answer - good to know (and YES its just one box and one item in there).
So as long as I print ASIN/Barcode/Description/NEw info in the same format and clarity as the usual adhesive SKU label I would apply to each box, it should be accepted.
I wish Amazon could have been so quick and clear in their advice! It’s been a struggle!
thanks
