Frankly, am fed up of being given the runaround on disbursement issues. 2 disbursements failed, had to chase Amazon to get them credited back. Added a different bank account (even though there was nothing wrong with the first) and saw a 1 pence test deposit successfully land from Amazon. Attempt a disbursement againt to this fully validated account, and it too has vanished into the void.
I have never had any issues like this with any other company, persistent failures to do simple funds transfers blamed on gremlins, the bermuda triangle, or the fact that the day the transaction was made ended in a 'Y'. Am just sick of it now, and I don't see any possibility of me ever getting anything more than that single penny verification deposit out of Amazon without taking some sort of legal action.
Anyone here gone the small claims route and how do you fare?

Yes, a few times. Always won. Their solicitors leave it to the last possible day, then pay up.
Good luck.
we've been waiting for 5 reimbursements , generated last december,
yes, its been 12 months .
Their replies we get from support is hilarious.
At some points they also wrote that they paid us, so we have to provide signed and verified bank statements proving that they didnt.
Now they just stopped replying, moving the case to a secret departement.
This should cover it.
I have exactly the same issue, was also considering Small Claims Court
give them 14 days notice that you are proceeding with a small claim court
If the funds under £10000 you can take them to court
You might be surprised how quickly your funds will be paid back to your account
