*Sellers with FBA inventory in Germany who do not participate in the Fulfilment Network Expansion (Central Europe programme) authorizing Amazon to store and process the inventory in Amazon's fulfilment network, including Poland and the Czech Republic, are charged an additional €0.25 fulfilment fee per unit shipped from German fulfilment centres.
We recommend that you enrol your eligible products in Small and Light and start preparing to send your shipments to our fulfilment centres before June 8. Newly enrolled products can also benefit from the enhancements that we have made to the FBA New Selection programme.

Is it still £9 maximum value?
Not that I can send anything to FBA anyway. Based on current restock limits and sales rate I can not create a shipment until mid September.

Will there be any improvements in the speed of service?
For us at least, the pricing has never really been the issue with the Small and Light programme, the issue is the speed of delivery compared to standard Prime.
During the coronavirus lockdowns, our Small and Light enrolled inventory suffered the most severe delays in shipping times and reduction in sales across the board compared to regular Prime and merchant fulfilled.
To take one example of many, during the first lockdown a kids scarf that we sell through small & light was showing an estimated delivery time of almost a whole month, whereas a seller on the same listing using regular prime still showed next day delivery. We had 100’s of units in stock so we couldn’t disenroll from the programme and ended up stuck with loads of stock in S&L FBA that we couldn’t shift. This happened on several different products.
We have since disenrolled several of our products from the Small & Light programme and seen a significant increase in sales, including recapturing the ‘Amazon’s choice’ badge on one product that we had before enrolling in small and light.
Even with the higher fees of regular Prime, the increase in sales since disenrolling far outweighs the benefits of using the programme for us.
We welcome this reduction in fees, but will the service itself be improving?

Has anyone tried enrolling their product for the new large envelope size? Since the new maximum thickness is 5cm my product is eligible however when attempting to enrol it I’m asked to confirm it is under the old maximum of 2.4cm?
It could just be that the change has not fully updated on seller central however if anyone else has the same issue or finds a way around this please let me know!
