My EAN's are linked to another brand
Hi all. I am having trouble listing a new product on Amazon. I am brand registered and I’m using GS1 bought GTIN/EAN’s…I have a product that is live and running, no issues. However, when I try to add another product, any EAN I use (have tried multiple form my GS1 number bank) brings up and error code stating;
You are using UPCs, EANs, ISBNs, ASINs, or JAN codes that do not match the products you are trying to list. If you believe you have reached this message in error, please contact Seller Support.
I have contacted seller support multiple times but their response has been really poor. they don’t seem to understand the issue is not with the GTIN/EAN’s, but that the numbers are being associated with another brand on Amazon - I know this because I can force a listing through by tinkering, and it appears with someone else brand name on the listing (all other elements of the listing are as I have created them but the brand name is not my brand)
If anyone has any advice on how to solve this I’d be really grateful, I’m tearing my hair out with Support!

You may need to contact GS1 and inform them that those codes have already been used and ask them to issue you new ones
are you brand registered with amazon ? and is the same name registered with GS1 ?

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes I have spoken to GS1, they’ve confirmed there’s no crossover with my numbers, they are registered to me/my company…and yes, I am brand registered with Amazon. the frustrating thing is that I listed an item two weeks ago, in exactly the same manner, and its all fine, but now my numbers don’t work…its really frustrating.
