What is Error 5461?

This error appears when you attempt to create a new ASIN but don't yet have approval to list products for that specific brand, even if you have a valid GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) from GS1.

How to Resolve Error 5461?

1. Submit a Brand Approval Application

Your first step is to submit a brand approval application through Seller Central. Here's what you'll need:

  • Exact brand name as it appears on the product
  • Product identifier (UPC, EAN, ISBN, or JAN)
  • Clear, high-quality images showing:

-> The product

-> Product packaging

-> Brand name

_> Barcode

2. For Brand Owners

If you own the brand, make sure your Brand Registry account is properly linked to your Seller Central account. This connection helps streamline the approval process.

3. Wait for Approval

After submitting your application:

  • Processing typically takes up to 24 hours
  • Once approved, you can begin creating new listings for the brand
  • Keep checking your Seller Central notifications for updates

We just received a fake counterfeit product back as part of our twice monthly automatic removal orders.

How do I go about filing a claim with Amazon? Finding the original order, removal order ID etc. is going to be time consuming.

A few weeks ago, many of us were hit with overcharges on Evri labels purchased through Buy Shipping.

While we’ve received some refunds, we're still missing a number of adjustments — and despite multiple cases with Seller Support, we're going around in circles.

To make things more confusing, more overcharges have appeared again today, which suggests the issue has not actually been resolved.

This is especially frustrating given that @Seller_mIRnuhdx7l5sN posted the following in another thread:

“The issue was caused by a technical error on Evri's side, which resulted in duplicate billing entries. We can confirm that this issue has now been resolved. As of 27 May 2025, all impacted seller accounts have been credited accordingly, and no further action is required from your side.”

“Evri has also implemented technical safeguards to prevent this from happening again in the future. If you believe your account is still impacted, we recommend opening a case with Seller Support for further investigation.”

So far, Seller Support insists that all charges are correct or tells us to take it up with Evri — even when the transaction is just a standalone negative “Adjustment” with no original label charge to match.

Hello,

I’m writing to report a targeted, inauthentic review attack on my listing. Out of three total ratings, two are one‑star ratings with no comments and one is a 1‑star review from an account that has never reviewed any other product. All of these 1‑star ratings appeared within the same week, and I haven’t received any other 1‑star feedback besides these.

This is not the first occurrence: few months ago I experienced a similar wave of fake reviews, which Amazon kindly investigated and removed. The current attack is clearly orchestrated to harm my seller metrics and has already caused a noticeable drop in sales.

Could you please investigate and remove these inauthentic ratings under Amazon’s Community Guidelines? I appreciate your swift assistance in safeguarding the integrity of product feedback and my account performance.

This is my listing (ASIN: B0DK3WV3ZS ). Receiving a review on listing like this is very rare and takes much time but i received 1 star 3 reviews with in 5 days which is impossible.

All of our Ratings are 5 and 4 stars and they all have reviews while the new 1 stars have no reviews which proves the suspicion as customers have no problem with our product as seen in the reviews.

There are other suspicious matters like attacker accounts being new, the reviews being polar opposite of what the normal and Vine customers say, opting out of communication, a different name on the orders so I can't find the order ID to report etc.

Hello.

I keep explaining to seller support that whenever I log into my Amazon account, 99% of sales ranks on the ASIN page are not showing. When I log out, they show like magic!

I tried clearing cookies, cache etc, no joy. I use google chrome. It's the latest version.

I said to seller support about this and they keep saying stuff like "please change browser", "it works for us please see screenshot" etc. They are ignoring that I have explained this seems to be account-specific. I already provided them proof etc. I asked chatGPT etc and it keeps saying it's likely an issue Amazon's end. But they don't want to help me it seems.

Has anyone else ever encountered this or found a fix? as I find the ASIN page sales rank very useful. It shows in other areas but I wanted to fix this on the ASIN page. I would rather not change web browser just for this, as I have it set up perfectly in Chrome and it's what i'm used to.

Any mods that are willing to escalate this? I tried to resolve it in the case but they don't want to know. This should be sent to their technical team but they failed to do so.

If any fellow sellers know the answer/if it happened to them before, i'd really appreciate your help on how you resolved it!

Complete pending KYC review. Complete Know Your Customer (KYC) review with your Payment Service Provider (PSP).

Anyone had anything like this recently, cannot see how this is relevant to us as UK only store and do not use a PSP.

Hi everyone,

This evening, we’ve been hit with hundreds of sudden charges on our account under the description:

"Carrier delivery label adjustment due to under-charged delivery label"

These adjustments are:

Hitting all at once with no prior notice

Going as far back as April 2025

All related to EVRi Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP) shipments

Providing no clear breakdown or calculation of how the so-called "undercharge" was determined. All we can see is that its a duplicate charge to the original buy shipping charge.

This has caused massive billing disruptions and we're concerned it may be a system-wide issue or billing error. A few example order IDs show the same problem with duplicate or unexpected label charges retroactively applied.

We have raised this with both EVRi and Amazon support, but are still waiting for an explanation or fix.

Is anyone else seeing this?

Would appreciate hearing from other SFP sellers (especially those using EVRi) to understand if this is isolated or affecting others too.

We have noticed a number of orders being forced to send via RM24 service on Buy Shipping.

Our usual Free shipping is RM48, however if the business opening hours are closed on that particular day then amazon only give us the option to send via RM24 at our cost. This has only just started last week, its something amazon have just introduced and its eating in to our profit. Is anyone else noticing this issue?

One of the biggest mistakes over the last few years in my opinion was the withdrawal of the right to reply in the feedback section. It is incredibly frustrating to not be able to reply to these publicly.

The fact there are no replies to a negative and positive comment which is available on every other platform, suggests to the layman and potential customer that we simply don't care about our customers experience. It will also separate the wheat from the chaff.

What does everyone think? A waste of time? Or shall we at least try?
