Hoping that someone can help provide guidance, or that an Amazon mod can chime in on what might be holding up our test approval.
We received notification that we needed to provide compliance documents for a children's toy listing, which is for plastic outdoor toys that are for children 6 years of age and older. We contacted the company we'd used in the past for our product testing and received an updated report with all applicable tests, which they provided and we submitted. Our submission was rejected and it the reason provided was "Missing Test"; no other clarification or explanation was given. We're unsure on how to proceed, as we have completed all tests we are aware of that are required for our product and the Amazon reviewer didn't provide any direction on what test we might be missing.
Here is a list of the tests that were completed and the results:
- CPSIA Section 101 & 103 Not Applicable
- CPSIA Section 106 & ASTM F963-23 Section 4.3.5.1(2) Not Applicable
- CPSIA Section 101 Pass
- California Prop 65, Total Lead Content Pass
- Washington Code Section 70.240.020, Cadium Content Pass
- Model Toxics in Packaging, Total Cadmium, Chromium (VI), Lead, and Mercury Content Pass
- 16 CFR 1307 Prohibition of Children's Toys and Child Care Articles Containing Specific Phthalates (8) Pass
- California Prop 65, Phthalate Content (6) Pass
- CPSIA Section 102 & 16 CFR 1501, Small Parts Not Applicable
- CPSIA Section 106, ASTM F963-23 & 16 CFR 1500 (FHSA), Mechanical Hazards & Labeling Pass
- CPSIA 103, Tracking Labels for Children's Products Pass
- 19 CFR 134.11, Country of Origin Marking Pass
- 16 CFR 1500.3(c)(6)(vi) & ASTM F963-23, Flammability of Solids Pass
If anyone can provide input on what test we might be missing, or if there is another way to contact Amazon to get direct guidance on what they're looking for, that would be very much appreciated.
This is currently an open Product Compliance Request. If we should be submitting our documents another way to get more input please let me know.
Edit to add: we have also created a case, ID: 17849834821
