In reply to: Seller_1TRFsBpclufGG’s postby Seller_N8sdIVWmCyj2a

hopefully some one is looking into it now over on this post, definitely affecting other sellers too. I did ask for an update last week as my card is still getting kicked off every Monday and probably will do again tonight, but have yet to hear back.

Edit: for the 6 week in a row I’ve hit the invalid charge method email again!

INVALID CHARGE METHOD
by Seller_Hlb0vD6yOvI0U
Amazon replied

Has anyone found a solution to this?

The error message prevents me from accessing my seller account, which means I can't see or process any orders which means my account will be at risk of deactivation.

I have tried to add a new charge method as my old card is no longer valid.

I have tried two different cards and still get the same error message. THERE WAS A PROBLEM. PLEASE CHECK ALL DETAILS ARE CORRECT.

All card details ARE correct, name spelled correctly, number, expiry date (which expires in about 9 months, not 6 or under). amazon have my same address as a bank.

I try several times until I can't try until 24 hours due to security reasons.

I have opened several cases with Amazon and no resolution. I have been told I need to verify my old card - I can't do as the bank account no longer exists.

I have been told get a Credit card instead.

Other Amazon reps have talked me through the process to add new charge method which I have already done so many times and the same happens. Error message appears.

I have screenshotted error message and I am getting nowhere!

Has anyone found a resolution to this? Please help, so frustrated

As we know listings are being removed by the Amazon BOT every day, very often for no reason at all, however this is the best one yet, a computer mouse listed in, Keyboards, Mice & Input Devices >Mice

It is going to be removed unless it is moved to the SEEDS and PLANTS category, couldn't write the book! Come on Amazon, do better.

This is to inform you that the following detail pages are at the risk of removal from our catalog. You must take remedial actions before 7/1/2024, UTC, else your listing(s) will be removed from our catalog. It is your obligation to ensure that the products you offer, comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and Amazon's policies.

ASIN: B0795X2KWW, SKU: QP-B9B0-V294, Title: 5 Button USB Optical Scroll Mouse with Built in Calculator Key Pad

Why is this happening?

This product has been identified as a live plant or seed product that is listed outside of the SEEDS_AND_PLANTS or PLANT_SEED categories. Please update the product_type attribute to either SEEDS_AND_PLANTS or PLANT_SEED values as a path to reinstatement.

Verify Establishment for Value Added Tax (VAT) - HUGE Delay
In reply to: Seller_QuxoryRYBbGoN’s postby Seller_QuxoryRYBbGoN

Today's more confusing updates from Amazon:

Notification 1:

"Thank you for your message regarding your dissatisfaction with Amazon Payments Europe (APE) service. Amazon Payments Europe takes complaints very seriously.

Amazon Payments Europe has reviewed your request and we would like to inform you that we have received all the necessary documents from you to verify your EU branch for VAT purposes.

We will contact you once we have completed the review or need more information. We cannot give you an exact date, but our team is working hard to complete the review as quickly as possible."

And with a few hours difference:

Notification 2:

Account Block

Your selling privileges in Germany have been deactivated and you may no longer sell on this marketplace based on instructions Amazon received from German Tax Authorities. You are no longer allowed to use our Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) service in connection with Amazon and all of your FBA items are seized and may not be sold or returned until your debts are fully paid. Your listings have been removed.

If you have funds in your Selling on Amazon payment account, they will be available once any amounts for A-to-Z claims or chargebacks on your orders have been deducted. This usually takes about 90 days, but funds may be held longer by Amazon Payments Europe S.C.A.

Why did this happen?

Amazon was approached by the German tax office Finanzamt Berlin International with regard to Value Added Tax (VAT) debts concerning your Marketplace sales in Germany. We are currently informed about open debts in the amount of 7.031,21 EUR. In the email you received, you could find the garnishment order which states the amount in question and includes payment details of the tax office at the bottom of the document (name of the bank, IBAN, BIC).

First, finally, your Amazon KYC team admits the obvious, that we are EU-established for VAT purposes, and coincidently, at the same time, they received a notification from the German TAX authorities that we owe VAT.

When we have not received anything from the German tax authorities about it, and trust me, when you owe VAT in Germany, you get INSTANT notifications from them. On top of that, we have provided them ALL our EU VAT returns to Amazon, including German ones, with ZERO VAT liability.

So, why did Amazon "receive" this supposed-to-be VAT liability of our EU-verified company when Amazon is not responsible for remitting VAT on our behalf??????

@Seller_gAhPNiLrkfTcr @Seller_pcsb5w54JugEA @Seller_DNQGSsdC7DccM @Seller_VJ4XoAkjDpjPH @Seller_TSXM2A5nxWSuHCan you please investigate what is finally going on with this mistreatment of our Account by Amazon?

Thank you very much!

Urgent help is needed ASAP - Amazon is wrongly considering us UK established for VAT when we have ZERO UK Activity.

For over 4 weeks now, we have been trying to prove to Amazon the obvious: that we are a European company selling ONLY to our VAT-registered EU countries on Amazon.de and we have received again the following:

Hello,

Thank you for your submission. We reviewed the information provided, but we need additional documentation to determine whether you are established in the UK for Value Added Tax (VAT) purposes.

Why did this happen?

We must collect and remit VAT from non-UK established selling partners for the sales of goods delivered to customers in the UK. Based on a review of your account, we determined that you may not be UK established for VAT purposes. We leveraged a combination of automated means and expert human review to identify this issue and make this decision. We took this action in accordance with the Amazon Business Solution Agreement:

https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/external/G201190440

and APUK Agreement:

https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G201190400

What actions do I have to take?

To avoid further impact to your disbursements, go to the Account Health page in your Seller Central account and follow the instructions from the banner that is present at the top of the page to submit the following mentioned documentation:

https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/performance/dashboard?ref=DR_kyc_ahd-cus

If you operate a Limited Company :

-- Evidence that you are physically operating your business from your provided address.

-- Evidence that you are operating your business from your provided address.

-- Documents confirming the identity and place of residence of every director listed in the extract.

-- Documents confirming the place of residence of every director listed in the extract.

If you do not meet the UK establishment criteria: Verify that you are not established in the UK.

In this case, you will not need to provide documentation, but you will need to pay Amazon to account for the un-paid VAT.

We have sent ALL the documents three times for our European company, which was already approved by Amazon on July 2023!!

Why is this happening and why all our funds are still on hold? This is completely unprofessional and opens Amazon's serious legal liabilities, including disruption of business.

Can a human from Amazon support finally review?

Thank you!

I know others have had this problem also, I am currently being 'verified' for UK establishment for VAT purposes - unfortunately like may other sellers I am struggling to keep up with cash flow as all of my sales disbursements are currently on hold until Amazon are able to 'verify' my information which I have provided on numerous occasions and have provided all of the relevant documents. I am still able to sell items but just can't access disbursements.

I have recently received an email saying that I don't have to provide anything else and that I will be in touch with regards to anything else and the progress of seller support looking at my information

Just out of curiosity - does it take a long time or just depend on specific scenarios?

Hope someone can help with this would be much appreciated as is quite difficult at the moment with this stress. thanks

We've now sent them 4 emails and had no reply at all. We included our merchant token in each one and explained the critical situation we're in.

Beyond frustrating!

DD+7 question
by Seller_9dIrIuWthiXwh

Hi,

Our DD+7 kicked in on 19th June. Since, we've had no funds available to withdraw, having previously drawn down most days.

It says we'll have a chunk available on 3rd July at the end of the settlement period.

My question is, are we stuck having to wait until the 3rd, or will cash start to become available 7 days after the orders placed on 19th June were delivered?

The majority of our sales are FBA so those 19th orders would have been delivered on the 20th/21st, therefore I'm expecting cash to become available from the 27th.

Can anyone confirm?

Thanks,

Marc
