Suppressed listings - "Color not supplied" even though it IS
In reply to: Seller_vtSzvxtW9StxE’s postby Seller_d8YGbIjNqwFxn

Okay yours is different to mine. I get 8040 error and I delete all the Parent and Children then I can relist about 15 minutes later and it all works okay.

Mine are all FBM. I have largely quit FBA except for a small amount of fast selling cards. All the clothing which are the variation listings are no longer in FBA.

There were many reasons why I quit FBA but one of those was that listings just went suppressed and there are times I can't fix them and they then just cost me money to get the stock back.

I am fed up with Amazon messing around with listings it just takes up so much of my time to fix them.

Yet again Im having to deal with a load of Amazon nonsense. This is to do with there pricing policy.

I have a number of listings which have been deactivated, along with receiving health warnings due to the price. The main issue is that Amazon is asking me to match the reference price that is listed in there catalogue but the problem is that the reference price has been set too low either by Amazon or a previous seller. Some items are being asked to be priced for less than £1.00, 1 item I was asked match the reference price of 39p. I understand where the fault is, this is from someone adding shipping on top but the price isnt reflective for another seller like myself that includes free P and P with the shipping cost built into the price

Amazon is forcing us to match the reference price, but its not possible to purchase these products and ship for 39p. I have tried contacting seller support but the are utterly useless and a waste of time. Anybody got any ideas in how you get this issue fixed?

Hi,

I have received an email that is either genuine or a very good fake, with the title "Email - Action Required: Amazon seller account review". It wants me to click on a link and answer some questions to arrange a virtual video call to confirm my identity, which I am happy to do, but I would like to confirm that the email is genuine before I input my merchant token etc.

I can't see anything within my seller account to indicate that this email has been sent, and the email also says that "Your Amazon selling account has been deactivated ", but there is no indication of this either, which makes me think the email may be a good scam.

Whenever I have used seller chat (for other issues), the replies that I get have been unhelpful and inaccurate (to be polite), and I see that the help that people get is on here is great, so that is why I am asking here first. Could an Amazon mod please take a look at my account and let me know if this email is genuine?

Also, if any Amazon sellers think that the email sounds genuine, do you know how long I might have before my account is actually deactivated?

Thank you very much

Full email below FYI:

Dear Amazon Seller Support Team,

I am writing to request the immediate reactivation of my Amazon seller account. My account has been deactivated without clear reason, and this has significantly disrupted my business operations.

Please review my account and provide assistance to restore it as soon as possible. If any additional information is needed, I am available to provide it promptly.

Thank you for your urgent attention to this matter.

Best regards,

Hi everyone,

Has anyone experienced this kind of unfair treatment?

Amazon automatically authorized a return (due to the customer's fault), refunded the buyer, as we never received any return, we filed a Safe-T claim, but it was denied twice.

Am I missing something or is this abuse standard?

Return automatically authorised + refund by Amazon, no return received, Safe-T claim denied
In reply to: Seller_ZJhFeE3tNKzfh’s postby Seller_HFVt2oFsT0nRo

Thank you for your advise BUT Royal Mail will reject any claim as we are not the RM account holder but Amazon is.

Royal Mail states:

Claims for items posted on account must be made by the sender using the dedicated Account Claim Form found on our How to make an account mail claim

ELECTRICITY BILL TO VERIFY MY ACCOUNT
In reply to: Seller_X8c1R6sydzO3A’s postby Seller_b0OiMyhqZnwKC

I have same issue for more than 2 months.

I provide them 3 different utility bills which belong to my residantial address but always rejected!!

I am really not sure are they asking for bill for my residantial address our business address.

Could the reason why we were rejected by Amazon be related to VAT registration? I applied for VAT but it has not been approved yet.

Nothing is said about VAT in the deactivation e-mail.

My account has been inactive for more than 2 months and no matter what document I upload, I cannot pass the verification process.

I am not allowed to open a case or call me through my account right now. That's why I can't get any help from anyone on Amazon.

I live in Turkey and I have a company based in the UK. I opened my Amazon account with this company information.

My account was open for 7-8 months but I had no listings.

I prepared my items and was about to start listing them.

During this 7-8 month period, my account was an individual account. Since I have reached the stage of sending my products, I wanted to turn my account into a professional account.

Afterwards, my account suddenly became deactivated and I was requested for a utility bill or business license. (You can see the image of the incoming e-mail attached.)

I submitted utility bills multiple times, following all of Amazon's instructions on how to upload the document.

Since I live in Turkey, I submitted the utility bills for my Turkey address. Unfortunately, I always received the answer that the documents were not enough. (You can see it in the image.)

I uploaded my company documents obtained by Companies House and they were also rejected.

I cannot check whether there is a typo regarding my address in Turkey because Amazon does not allow me to see the address I entered in my account. (You can see it in the image.).

Since I can't contact Amazon, I don't even know the answer to this question. Should I provide a utility bill for my residence address or my business address?

As I said, I do not live in the UK, so it is not possible for me to obtain a utility bill from there. There should be other additional documents that can be provided instead of the utility bill on this issue.

Another problem is that there is a word called "CUSTOMISE4ALL" in the part of my business address, but there is no such word in my business address. I don't know if this word appearing there is a systematic error or a spelling mistake I made before.

Since my account is limited, I cannot delete this wrong word from there or contact an official to correct this mistake.

Unfortunately, I don't know what to do right now and I'm really worn out. I would be very happy if Amazon officials reading this could contact me regarding the solution to my problem.

Many thanks in advance to those who try to help.

Turning off Sponsored Products Experiment
by Seller_GK5kQEXpZI6fr

Has anyone tried completely pausing their sponsored products/display/brands for a certain period to see the effect it has on sales?

I am getting ever more distrustful of campaign metrics!
