Unsubstantiated counterfeit claim
by Seller_tRuvBEHDedp4q

Received a policy warning that someone had made a counterfeit/authenticity claim on a product I sell.

Now as I buy the product direct from the manufacturer who designed and make the item, and I have been selling it for several years I wasn't unduly worried.

So I go into appeal - and it asks me to submit invoice dated within last 90 days and also dated before the claim was made showing I bought at least 10 units.

So I send in invoice from 9th May showing 25 units bought.

Now I get an email saying the information was not sufficient. Amazon now want me to submit invoices for last 365 days showing total units matching what I have sold over the last 365 days!!

This is frankly ridiculous - I have submitted last 6 months worth invoices and a Letter of Authority from the manufacturer giving me re-sell rights. Im not going back further. This is not Amazon seeing if item is counterfeit - it cannot be as I buy direct from the manufacturer who designed and make the item. It is either a competitor making an unsubstantiated claim or Amazon themselves who want to start selling the item for themselves and checking to see how many units I sell through other channels because they can now see how many units I bought and they know how many I sold on Amazon.

Im getting very disheartened with selling on Amazon with their constant interference in my business and constant requests for documentation. I also received yet another request from Amazon to prove my VAT status because they say the name on their records does not match up with my VAT Certificate. Strange how this test passed before. Anyway, so I have had to download and send in my VAT Certificate yet again - and lo and behold the names match exactly between the Certificate (that they have had now several times) and the name in Amazon Business Information. Im seriously thinking of quitting altogether.

Missing Inventory
by Seller_ctBKj5XBruGft

Sent in 59 Units with a value of £600+, amazon confirmed this has been checked in and then apparently its gone missing. Now they are changing their story and claiming they didn't receive the items.

An absolute joke I must admit. I am a very small business and £600 is a lot of money to my business. The fact that no one is willing to look into this properly is annoying especially as its been going on for 4 weeks now.

Absolutely disgusting.

Low sales for almost two weeks,
In reply to: Seller_81XUS3q50Vn1M’s postby Seller_PTena7LrLt9Wh

In my opinion after selling on Amazon for 15 years now, hitting nearly £1m in sales and five staff to sales of 100k and no staff. The UK is heading closer to a Depression, Online sales has had its time, shoppers are hitting the high streets or just doing without.

Duplicate Products / Skus
by Seller_Lvj7uJKyoaK5B

We list our products as both seller fulfilled and FBA - so we have two SKUs for one ASIN - and have done for over 15 years. Amazon are now saying that we can’t do this… does anyone else offer their products under FBA and merchant fulfilled and having the same issue?

Greedy Seller
by Seller_UVeFCZoAA4mkx

Fellow sellers, I'm seeking some advice on a frustrating situation I've encountered with another seller undercutting repeatedly.

I initially found a product with great profit margins over 100% ROI and there is about 10-15 sellers. I matched the current Buy Box price and sales were going well for about a month. Then yesterday, another seller started hugging the Buy Box, going just 1p below the current buy box.

It's evident they are using a repricing tool to constantly undercut the lowest price by 1p in order to solely maintain the Buy Box themselves. While I understand the motivation to capture all the Buy Box sales, it's exasperating when sellers configure repricers so aggressively just to box others out.

This particular seller has over 200 seller feedbacks, so they are an experienced seller who surely understands pricing strategies. As a result of their relentless undercutting, my potential ROI on this product has plummeted from over 100% down to only 5-10%.

I've now sold out of my inventory for this item. My question for everyone reading is would you continue sourcing more of this product knowing you'll likely just enter another Buy Box battle? Or would you cut your losses and move on to other products?

I'm all for healthy price competition, but it feels unethical when sellers setup repricers to continuously undercut by the smallest increments just to own the Buy Box. I wish we could agree as a seller community to share the Buy Box rather than trying to monopolize it. But I realize that's unlikely to happen.

Any thoughts or advice on how to approach this type of situation would be appreciated.

Here's to better seller karma for all of us.

Dear Amazon Seller Community,

We are reaching out in desperation as we have been facing significant issues with our Amazon seller account since January 25th. For the past six months, we have been diligently working to prove our UK establishment status, but to no avail.

Here's a brief timeline of our situation:

January 25: We began the process of proving our UK establishment status.

May 1: Our account was suddenly blocked with the reason: "We have concluded that your selling account has failed the business establishment verification process that is associated with your value-added tax (VAT), and your account will remain deactivated."

Since then, we have submitted numerous appeals and provided extensive documentation to prove our status. Despite our continuous efforts, the result remains the same – our account is still blocked. Today, we received another response confirming that our account remains deactivated.

We are even prepared to accept being recognized as a non-UK establishment, but it seems this will not lift the account block either. We have been selling on Amazon since 2021 and never expected that our business could be destroyed overnight due to this issue.

We are at our wits' end and do not know what more we can do to resolve this situation. Our business is on the brink of collapse, and we urgently need guidance and assistance. Has anyone else faced a similar situation? What steps did you take to resolve it? Any advice or support would be immensely appreciated.

Thank you for your understanding and help.

Letter OfAuthorisation UK
by Seller_iQApzf8YH71AT

Hi Folks,

Been trying to finish my sole trader account setup but seems to be a problem when it comes to Letter Of authorization. Keep saying random excuses:

1. We are contacting you as we are unable to validate the status of the signatory of the letter of authorization as a legal representative of the business, due to the reasons listed below.

OR

2. The document 'Letter of authorization' that you provided did not confirm that the primary contact person who is registered in Seller Central is a legal representative of the business.

when they have asked for this:

Letterhead of the company

LEGAL REPRESENTATIVE CONFIRMATION

The undersigned **name of Company here** (herein after, the "Company"), duly represented by (name, date of birth, and function) **add full name, date of birth, and function of the signatory here**, confirms that **add full name of the signatory of the letter of authorization and their job title/role here** is a legal representative of the Company.

Dated this:

Signed By:

I've filled this out as per seller central word for word and keep bouncing back this would be around 15 times now trying to tweak it a bit but still the same anyone recently experiencing the same problems

Please Help

Drop shipper fraud anyone recognise this sentence?
In reply to: Seller_ae51e0CJoHqCX’s postby Seller_xFNy6AOedMagf

Spot on. We changed all our Amazon sales to tracked a couple of years ago, for this exact reason.

It increased the price to the buyers and lost us a lot of sales of low value items (which continue to sell nicely in other channels), but stopped the constant barrage of dubious non-delivery claims and appears to have totally driven off the drop shippers.

By increasing prices, it also helped us with our goal of reducing Amazon to less than 25% of business. I like to balance our channels in order to mitigate the risk if one gets suspended, imposes an unreasonable administrative requirement (Fruugo & TikTok, I'm looking at you....), goes out of business etc.

Your account has been deactivated.
In reply to: Seller_hnDMgUKxMh1V4’s postby Seller_NDW4MxoMnA10Y

I appreciate your help. I am not able to contact anybody ( no phone number to provide me any details on what to do). Every time I have sent an appeal, the message back says: "

Hello Solip,

You have been found to be related to an account beginning with Solip.

We received your submission but do not have enough information to reactivate your account at this time.

I never sold any single item on Amazon ( possibly many years ago the account was opened on Amazon Seller Central) but never created any listing, never owned any money to Amazon and my account was in poor standing ( as possibly the account was opened and never used since then)

I do not see any other option. I have been a business owner for the last 15 years and never had anybody work for me.

Still, some information from Seller Central will resolve this issue. Still, I do not have the option to speak or reply to emails from Amazon customer service as every time I receive an email the message says:( Please note. This e-mail was sent from a notification-only address that cannot accept incoming e-mails. Please do not reply to this message.)

Incorrect Return Reason & Safe-T Claims
by Seller_IueLYzgVB31T0

Hi all,

Getting frustrated by Safe-T claims at the moment.

Customers are consistently selecting "Item defective or doesn’t work" in order to benefit from a free return (this is a shame in itself but a discussion for another time) when in reality it's a simple change of mind / too big, too small return.

The items in question don't quality for blanket free returns.

Until recently I have been successful in nearly 100% of Safe-T claims, however this last week or so I'm getting denied with the reason "The reason behind this decision is that the item for which you requested a reimbursement of the return label cost is eligible for Free Returns."

As above - the item, when FBM is NOT eligible for free returns.

Does anyone have any advise?

It's only costing us £10-15 per week, but obviously over a year that is as much as £780.

Thanks in advance.
