Vicious Circle trying to list book for purchase

I am new to Seller and opened an Individual account. I want to sell one single item, my self-published book. I Add Product, put the book’s ISBN in the Category and fill in everything else required. It appears in My Inventory and I get an email saying it will be available for purchase in 15 minutes. But it never does. Seller helpdesk tells me my listing ’is not currently assigned to a product category, therefore is not searchable’. It tells me to complete the following steps. First go to Edit and select Product Identity and then fill in ‘Recommended Browse Nodes/Item Type Keyword’ BUT THERE IS NO PRODUCT ID to be found. Heldesk told me it is under Product Description… but when I click on that I get a message saying ‘Restricted Edit Permissions. As you are not the brand owner for this product…’ etc. It stops me filling out anything under Brand Description’, (It is my own self-published book but, when registered, Nielsen book registry automatically lists all books on Amazon.) Helpdesk then tell me, as an alternative, to ‘Toggle Advanced View’ BUT THERE IS NO ‘ADVANCED VIEW option to toggle. I am now on my 10th case with Help about this over two weeks and can’t get them to understand that it is not possible to carry out their instructions, despite sending screenshots to show I can’t fill out Product Details and there is no ‘Advanced View option. Please, please… can anyone else suggest anything and put me out of my misery?

Hello Sarah, I have the same issue with Spain. for more than 15 month. from about Feb last year. I have tried everything. Naturally I have put my account there on holiday mode can you please help? They keep telling me the relevant department will get back in touch with e because they don't see any problems with me account. Can you also help me?

I have 1 "Product Authenticity Customer Complaints" in my Account Health, for which for some reason the invoice is not accepted by Amazon, even though the Wholesaler has already confirmed that the product is authentic

I have recently been having the same issue as you describe in this quoted part

Although when you are asked to provide invoice it initially says must show at least 10 units - Amazon actually require last 365 days of invoices where the quantity purchased from supplier must be greater than quantity sold on Amazon.

Amazon just kept telling me they were unable to verify my supplier. They even asked for my supplier suppliers details at one point. After a lot of back and forth they eventually said they actually required last 365 days invoices. Even after I found this out I still had trouble as Amazon kept saying I had sold more that I had bought. This was caused by 2 problems:

1. Providing invoices of last 365 days - if you sold items 365 days ago you need invoices from before 365 days ago (after all you cannot sell something you not bought in)

2. Amazon look at orders made NOT sales. Goto Inventory, change drop down to ASIN, enter ASIN into search box, change filter to 365 days and it will tell you total orders. But orders made are not the same as sales. If you have had items returned/refunded and then were able to re-sell then your orders will be higher than actual sales.

When I included invoices from month before 365 days ago and subtracted refunded orders from total orders the quantities I had bought in matched the sales. I wrote it all out in a document (with actual figures) and attached it to appeals and they did then capitulate and accept the invoices as proof.

Something you may want to try.

Royal Mail 48 No Longer Provides Valid Tracking??

We have always used Royal Mail 48 as our parcel delivery method.

Royal Mail 48 has a barcode tracking number.

This method has worked well for years. Yet since 31/05/2024 the barcodes no longer register with Amazon software. The Royal Mail website indicates that a oarcel has been delivered, with a photograph as evidence.

This is now impacting our valid tracking rating.

Has Amazon banned Royal Mail delivery???

Fellow sellers, I'm seeking some advice on a frustrating situation I've encountered with another seller undercutting repeatedly.

I initially found a product with great profit margins over 100% ROI and there is about 10-15 sellers. I matched the current Buy Box price and sales were going well for about a month. Then yesterday, another seller started hugging the Buy Box, going just 1p below the current buy box.

It's evident they are using a repricing tool to constantly undercut the lowest price by 1p in order to solely maintain the Buy Box themselves. While I understand the motivation to capture all the Buy Box sales, it's exasperating when sellers configure repricers so aggressively just to box others out.

This particular seller has over 200 seller feedbacks, so they are an experienced seller who surely understands pricing strategies. As a result of their relentless undercutting, my potential ROI on this product has plummeted from over 100% down to only 5-10%.

I've now sold out of my inventory for this item. My question for everyone reading is would you continue sourcing more of this product knowing you'll likely just enter another Buy Box battle? Or would you cut your losses and move on to other products?

I'm all for healthy price competition, but it feels unethical when sellers setup repricers to continuously undercut by the smallest increments just to own the Buy Box. I wish we could agree as a seller community to share the Buy Box rather than trying to monopolize it. But I realize that's unlikely to happen.

Any thoughts or advice on how to approach this type of situation would be appreciated.

Hello

i started selling items and sold a bunch of items through seller fulfilment my account saying 100% valid tracking rate even though some yet most of items were untracked however only had 1 customer complaint regarding not delivery and they are requesting information i have given this information like 10 times every time stating i need to give this information which i have

what makes this worst is i got an email saying it would be a hold for 30days and seller fulfillment deactivated until they confirm delivery which seems completely ridiculous however as i have appealed and they are not accepting the documents my account is now going to be deactivated forever after 90days of them not accepting my documents rang amazon 10 times at this point no help what so ever there not even clear of what information i should give so my account will be on hold funds forever and i wont be able to do my own orders

thirdly i sent my orders in fba all the delivery times are just completely ages away and cant sell anything at this rate completely ruining my amazon business can some actual human help me sort this out

this is what it keeps asking me even though i have given it its a joke amazon have just forced to send everything to them and now they in result i have terrible delivery times from them and i am paying them every month not to able to sell items myself

Just got another one. I sell at £30. Two other sellers, 1 at £56 and the other at £76. I get deactivated and both of those are still in place.

Surely this is price fixing?

Hello. our account was deactivated on 11 april 2024 and funds were hold. upon enquiry with multiple teams on emails, we waited for 60 days. now today on 21 june 2024 we had our interview call done for identity verification. we received email after the interview as mentioned below. i would like to know when the funds will be released as the person only verified my passport and ask few basic questions only. it went smooth. and what enforced team they talking about? as my account deactivated due to recent VAT issue. i will resolve it with the team once the funds will be released as per amazon withhold policy.
