book pricing.
by Seller_N0kQDKMgwda6y

Can ANYONE make any sense of Amazons pricing policy ? I have had books deactivated for overpricing when it was rare, mine was the only one on Amazon and those few on ABE were £10 more. I was asked to provide a 'reference price' which was presumably the new price in about 1980 !

Now I have had another removed so I looked up the others for sale. Mine was £38. Ther are two at £30, which was not the case when I first listed as I am always the cheapest like for like. But there are three at £80, and the one new copy ( surely their 'reference price' ) is over £200 !

I cant make any sense of it at all. Book prices on Amazon are totally random. I have seen prices ranging from 10 to 200 for the same book and Amazon is mostly happy with it. But when one of the bucket shops puts up a valuable book for a ridiculous price i am suddenly expected to match it. I would rather take it down the charity shop. ( mind you, thats where the bucket shops get some of their books )

Is it just me or does this happen to others ?

Hi

I’m sure I’ve seen the sentence before. I suspect a drop shipper is looking back through their Amazon orders and if the tracking shows the item as not delivered (frequently the case with Royal Mail 48) they demand a refund using the following wording

”I still have not received my order even though the estimated delivery date has passed. Can you process a full refund for my order no ’

Anyone else seen this?

Cheers

I have been having an absolute nightmare with listings being suppressed due to "colour not provided". Some of these listings are two years old and all of a sudden they have become suppressed, even though colour WAS provided. I created all of these listings. I sent an email to the managingdirector@amazon.com as I suspect this to be a bug as it ONLY happens for brands which are 'brand protected'.

Communication seemed positive until their reason has gone back full circle to this absolute disgrace of a reason. "Our internal team completed to review the issue and determined that the variation relationship is not approved because it does not follow Amazon's listing policy. We cannot share any information about the specifics factors behind the decision due to confidentiality."

CONFIDENTIALITY?! I created the listings! This is no way helpful! I have created over 200 variation listings and this issue only arises to brand protected listings (those with 96 hours approval). I have been back and to, to get approval for these brands again to remove suppresssion, but they keep becoming suppressed. This seems like a bug in Amazons systems and they are unwilling to have their technical team look into this.

If there is an Amazon employee here, please can you reach out

Lost Buy Box (Featured Offer) MEGATHREAD
In reply to: Seller_QIMWRIIsqJQai’s postby Seller_SQgoQ7DOR69NP

I lost 100% of my featured offers/buy boxes overnight. Previously all my listings won buy boxes, but now I'm losing 90% of them, even though I'm the cheapest, have only one seller and FBA, and have good seller account health and performance metrics. Can you help me to solve this problem? Thanks. @Spencer_Amazon

This is bad for business.

My charge method worked for several months after I renewed my card because it expired. Then, suddenly, I received a message that my charge method is not valid. I checked my details in the charge method section and ensured they are correct. I even updated them again, but they are still not accepted, even though I have waited 48 hours as suggested by other forum members.

I also read that some forum members say that a credit card is required, but I have been an experienced seller here on Amazon for over five years and have never been asked for a charge method other than a debit card. It very much depends on the country you are in, and I understood that both debit and credit cards are suitable for sellers from European Union member states.

I also contacted my bank to make sure the problem is not with my card settings. The bank confirmed that everything is fine on their end.

I don't know what to do now. I have been blocked for almost a month. Please help.

I kid you not, item delivered at 11:32 this morning, buyer filed an AtoZ claim at 12:01, I refunded seconds later, AtoZ granted against me?!

Amazon = incompetence personified.

Drop shipper fraud anyone recognise this sentence?
In reply to: Seller_0UsCN5pKkU6bJ’s postby Seller_K8edOfPu9HEmN

If every Amazon seller charged a shipping charge and sent RM 48/24 tracked it would almost totally cut this practise out. Since we've started doing this even for the cheapest items we have had zero claims for INR.

The insurance said they can add the following to the policy:

Can someone confirm if this is in line with Amazon's insurance requirement policy:

If the gross proceeds from Your Transactions exceed the applicable Insurance Threshold during any month, or otherwise if requested by us, then within thirty (30) days thereafter, you will maintain at your expense throughout the remainder of the Term, public third party liability insurance in connection with each Amazon Site with at least the Insurance Limits per occurrence/aggregate covering liabilities caused by or occurring in conjunction with the operation of your business in connection with such Amazon Site, including products liability and bodily injury, with policy (ies) naming Amazon and its assignees as additional insureds. At our request, you will provide to us certificates of insurance evidencing the coverage required by this Section 8 to the following address: Amazon Services Europe S.à r.l., 38 avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg, Attn: Risk Management; and with a copy to: c/o Amazon, P.O. Box 81226, Seattle, WA 98108- 1226, USA, Attention: Risk Management.

tracking issues
by Seller_ffDSmJ9POyrBl
Amazon replied

Hi, i have been send an email from amazon saying my tracking upload is failing below 90%. Now when i checked my account health, it says valid tracking below 90%. I have been using DHL for past two years and have been uploading the tracking numbers, never had any issues. I have emailed amazon but they have replied back to me with an automated email, doesnt make any sense. Can anyone please let me know?

When i upload tracking information, i choose DHL and then DHL EXPRESS, and everything was working fine with that.

Just started using QZ tray to do one click shipping but its terrible compared to other ways I do it. The labels are printing ever so slightly too big so it cuts off the tracking number at the bottom of the label. Is there a way to change the scale? When printing via PDF I have to change to 96% but this is slow as I have to do each label one by one. Other sites I use give all the labels and packing slips in one PDF and it's easy but not here. If doing it without QZ installed it gives me an individual PDF for each label and it's so slow to open and print each one. Am I missing something?
