Verification code every time I log in
by Seller_mS10UjVYuuGor

It might be browser dependant.

In Chrome, assuming updated to the latest version I see a checkbox marked 'trust this device' or 'keep me logged in' you need to check the box before entering the code and that keeps you logged for about a week before another code is required.

Verification code every time I log in
by Seller_4WqoxFqxjodJW

Just lately I have had to do a verification code every single time I tried to log in. It used to be that you did it once and you would not need to do it again for a few months. Has gone now or is there anyway I can bypass keep putting the code in?

Books and Brand Registry
by Seller_drLRJgrBPnFBI

I have just been checking my inventory and have noticed many books being suppressed as they require approval to sell. (Take note, Amazon, books are published, and do not have a BRAND)

Firstly, they are secondhand books, therefore the principle of first sale doctrine applies and I don't need approval.

Secondly, when I look at the suppressed listings, I have found several of them are already inactive (although the listings screen doesn't tell me that) - if I had re-listed them then I wouldn't have them in stock - why are Amazon suppressing inactive listings?

Thirdly, has anyone had any joy with getting approved without submitting invoices (which would be impossible as I am not buying from the publisher, merely selling used books that I have bought from other sources)

Would be grateful if an Amazon rep could comment on the above please as well as forum posters.

Thank you

Buyer pays for the tracked shipping in our case so self insurance is not a factor. Whereas I can't see the point leaving yourself wide open to abuse from Amazons vast army of thieves and scammers. After all we get no protection whatsoever

Surely self-insurance works out cheaper in the long run, doesn't it?

I can't see the point.

I generally send lower value items standard delivery, however I am recently noticing an increase in non receipt claims and A-Z claims without fair contact to resolve. All of which is costing money, time, and account ratings.

Am I silly to send low value items from £6 signed delivery? and what is the ideal threshold when you're just a small business.

TIA

Maybe if you sell in categories that get lots of dubious INRs it might pay to send everything fully tracked but in the main, for low value items, I can't see the point.

No I don't think you're silly! We send everything tracked no matter what the cost of the item but we charge buyers a postage fee to cover it.

Doing this reduces sales but the way I look at it is, what's the point selling loads of items with free postage and sending them by non-tracked methods then get the old where's my stuff email followed by an A to Z and the buyer getting a freebie with Amazons blessings. We might as well take the hit on sales but get paid for 100% what we sell.

"...you need a code every time"

Have to say I don't. It seems to be fairly random, but sometimes about once a fortnight.

Listing getting deleted and stranded inventory
by Seller_E83uuzTny2KeZ

Hey forum members.

I've updated a few of our listings this evening with a couple new pictures, refreshed the bullet point information and matched our A+ content with the bullet points for consistency across the product listing.

After doing 4 or 5 listings, all of them were deleted with FBA inventory set to stranded. I did not delete any listings or break any rules in regards to policy, it seems very odd that after updating pictures all listings got deleted.

Any idea why this might have happened or the best way to reinstate the listings so that I don't have to pull all the stock out of FBA warehouse and remake 5 new listings with new EAN numbers?

This has happened to me today. Some of my orders have it available, but some don't. So frustrations, I don't have time to go through click and drop fro every order that doesn't work
