UK Marketplace - Kitchen Knives - Category Wide Issue
I am creating this forum to draw attention from the Executive team at Amazon UK - Hopefully the Managing Director views this.
Over the last 2 weeks, over 10 sellers have had their ASINs in the Kitchen Knife category made inactive during the most important sales period of the year. This has created significant damage to many small businesses, some of which is irreversible. There are likely many more FBA sellers that have been affected by this issue outside of seller forums and it seems to be a glitch in Amazon's algorithm.
It is very clear that by Amazon's own policy on bladed products that Kitchen Knives are eligible for sale in the UK marketplace by FBA sellers, with ASINs only requiring AVD (age verified delivery) - please see this policy linked below:

The policy is stated clearly and yet all departments in seller support have delayed/ignored requests for serious investigations or resolutions. Instead, us sellers have received the same templated responses. I have attached a small sample of these responses below where it is clear that we are being ignored and swept aside whilst other sellers including Amazon vendors, are allowed to sell freely.
All sellers affected by this please post on this forum and mention your Case IDs.
