What is amazon charging me for?

Hiya!
I just don’t understand how Amazon works? Please take a look at my attachment and let me know why amazon has charged me £35.60? What for?
If I continue my listing on amazon is this the amount I have to pay for selling an item? Is it a subscription-like monthly basis? How to stop this? It is not beneficial to me.
Please help!

Regards,
Kashish

The transaction view is your friend for seeing a more detailed breakdown of the fees.

Fees from your sales, no? Commision + Fulfilment fee

If you chose to be on the Professional Selling PLAN then there is a monthly fee of £30 (£25 + VAT).

You need to remember there are fees payable on every item sold, which varies depending on the category of goods, and all the fees have VAT added too.
As Demel says, you need to click on the transaction view to see how the fees are made up.
Also when you list an item for sale the email will tell you what fees there will be and how much you will receive when the item sells.
Check out the fees table by using the search box, or in Seller University - link at bottom of seller homepage.

Thank you everyone for your reply. Still have a lot more to learn how exactly it works.
