Do amazon warehouses accept Fedex shipments?
I’m a new seller on amazon and have arranged my first shipment with a supplier to an amazon warehouse. We agreed on a price and shipping costs and I paid a week ago, they are now saying that Amazon doesn’t accept Fedex shipments so I have to pay an extra $50 for DPD. I’m assuming this is a scam to try and get more money, but wanted to check quickly before I respond to this.
Thanks for any help !

Basically couriers delivering to Amazon have to make an appointment in advance. Some approved couriers have standing appointment slots and so don’t need to book in advance.
Amazon have changed their policy pages so it’s not as clear as it used to be, but previously Fedex was an approved courier to only some of their locations. So it’s possible that your shipment is going somewhere they don’t have a standing appointment for and they can’t / won’t make the appointment. Or your supplier just wants an extra $50, but it seems a small amount to scam for.

Using Amazon Partnered Carrier (UPS) is much cheaper than Fedex or DPD.
You haven’t said where you are shippping to and from.
